This is fun place to grab lunch and I have to say it is tough to beat the deal on the calzones. The calzone isn't big, but it is less than $4 and is tasty. The pizza's are decent for the price. I also give props to the theme and decorations. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they seem to either forget about an order or take really long once in a while, but they are always responsive, nice and helpful if you just ask what is going on. Great place!

This is the best kept secret in Redmond!! I've driven past this place many times on my way home from work, but I won't do that again. I'll definitely be going back to get another "Thai Fighter". It is a little hidden, but is definitely worth stopping in for one of their amazing pizzas. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk through the door you're pleasantly surprised by the fun cool atmosphere with old science fiction movie posters and neon signs. They even have a flying saucer crashing through their restaurant! I also love that they came up with silly sci-fi themed names for their pizzas. The pizzas are all personal size, which is a little different, but they are a great value.

Ok, I really want to give this place a better review, but out of my three visits to this establishment only one of them was a good experience. Everything everyone says about the pizza being a good deal and tasting good are correct. They have great prices and great personal pizzas that should fit the taste of just about anyone (and if it doesn't build your own!). My first visit was great and if I had done the review based on that one visit then I would give it all five stars. My second visit (I ordered by web that time) found my pizza not ready (not a big deal since I would rather have it hot out of the oven), but was told that their credit card machine was spazzy sometimes and would I mind going and getting cash. So I paid an extra $2.50 in transaction fees from the AM/PM cash machine to get my pizza, can you say no tip? The third visit I again did a web order only this time for four pizzas as we had company over. I got there and they hadn't started making them yet and said it was going to be about 20 mins. I said fine, I'll go get some dessert. I came back and they still hadn't made them. At this point it had been over an hour since my original order went in. i was pretty hacked off and was going to get a refund, but the owner comped me our stuff and put them in right away. I had to wait around an hour and a half in total for a pizza I preordered. It was good stuff, but I have been bitten by the bad luck food gods I guess.
Pros: Great food and value
Cons: Not good for large groups as it messes up their entire night.

You really get a lot for your money at this place. I've tried a couple of their pizzas and both were great. The meteor shower was my favorite. The restaurant is very clean and the staff there is very friendly. They have a wide variety on their menu and can accomodate groups with widely different tasts & diets.

I have been to Flying Saucer Pizza on multiple occasions. My favorite is the "Area 51" (artichoke, tomato, spinach). My kids liked the "Man in the Moon" with the multiple cheeses. Portion sizes are pretty healthy and the prices are reasonable, so I think it's a really good value. Also, the whole flying saucer motif is pretty cool. Will definitely go back.
Pros: Tasty pizza with fresh ingredients
Cons: None major

One of the best pizzas around - and finish up with a lip-smackin' espresso that tastes out of this world, (and a pastry if you have any room)! These personal pizzas are plenty big if you're hungry or you want 2 meals out of it. Not only is the taste something to return for again and again, but the crust has the best taste and texture of any pizza I've had, and it does NOT get soggy when you re-heat any leftovers. I like the specialty pizzas - give me a Black Hole and I'm happy! Or, build your own from the extensive list of fresh ingredients and watch them make and bake your own creation right in front of you. You get your money's worth too - hey my wallet still has money in it! Good ambience - background music but not so loud that you can't converse with the person at your own table. Customer service oriented for sure. Enjoy your visit!

I'm still trembling with aftershocks. If you enjoy the food you eat normally, don't go here. If you go here, you'll think of nothing else. I've only had 'Ming the Mercilous'. Even Ming would cry like a baby at its awe and splendor. jalapeno. with the enyay. fennel sausage. roasted garlic. I can't remember what else is on it, but I can only eat 75% of it, and I'm a beer drinking fat man. excellent deeeeel as well. a true secret of redmond/kirkland. I used to think Piecora's, Post alley, and that place on alki was the best pizza. There's a disturbance in the force. That's no moon. they need beer on tap (or at least in bottles). recycling. and metal utensils. but these are nothing compared to the qualities of the pies. mother of god. Don't bring friends or you'll be fighting and looking at each other nervously for the leftover pizza. You'll begin by saying things like: wow, this is good pizza....too bad my oven broke yesterday, I may have to live on the rest of this, haha. but it will end up with the largest of the group walking away with the spoils. or perhaps people pretending to leave but just circling the block, to come back for more since it is cheap. it's almost as if they've discovered how to be truffle farmers, or perhaps there are addictive chemicals in the pizza. not sure. beware.
Pros: pizza - best ever
Cons: no beer

I usually get one of the giant salads knowing I can share my boyfriend's pizza, as the "personal" pizzas are quite generious.
Pros: everything is always fresh.
Cons: I can't walk there from my office

The family running this joint is pouring their hearts into it and it shows! Fun atmosphere, good selection, and most importantly good pizza. I stumbled in for a change of pace from the Subway next door and was glad I did as I've been back several times. Be sure and stop by for a Black Hole, Ming the Merciless, or the Thai Fighter!
Pros: Easy for lunch or solo dinner
Cons: Its new so they still have a few details to work out

The Thai Fighter is one of the best thai pizza's you'll ever taste. :) I also love the hawaiin pizza - Piatino's Luau. Yummy. Well done guys!
