A & R Moving

I am small business owner, so I try to support small local businesses. I tried A & R Moving for my business move. They arrived on time, were professional and obviously knew their job well. This company preformed good service for me and they definitely have my business in the future.

Pros: Arrived on time, worked non-stop until the job was finished.

This company ended up charging me nearly twice what they estimated and they lost the feet to my sofa (which they removed). In the end, I was told it was my fault as we apparently saw the movers remove the feet. Definitely not recommended.

Pros: was able to provide service the day I needed

Cons: bad service, took twice as long and lost small items, no accountability

In late March they moved me and the move was quick, efficient, well executed. Then, in September, I found I was moving again. I had no doubt who to call for the second move. Yet again the crew was very organized and punctual. Although I had concerns that some of the items may be too heavy or awkward to go up 3 flights of stairs, Alex and Trevor handled it with seemingly little effort. Thanks a lot !

Pros: Polite, hard-working, and careful.

Cons: Not a one.

I was in dire need of help when my original mover decided to cancel on me at the last moment. I am really glad I called A & R, they helped me on very short notice, The guys did a great job. They were on time, very quick and very gentle with all my stuff. They were extremely careful with everything and very careful not to bump any walls during the move in. I am incredibly impressed with them and would highly recommend them to anyone making a move.

Pros: Extremely professional

Cons: Forgot to grab the screws for my mirror :-)

Just wanted to write a little message to say thanks for the hard work and great service this last weekend, when your movers helped me move. I have highly recommended this company to all of my friends and family because they are very friendly and aim to please their customers. My moving experience was great and I want to share it with everybody.

Couldnt be more satisfied with this move. A friend at work used this company just last week, to move his parents from their family home to a retirement village. I had seen their trucks around town, distinctive white trucks with bold black writing A & R Moving. I called them and got immediate estimate on the phone based on the information I provided. On the day of the move everything went perfect even though it was raining all day. I plan on moving in about 1 year and I will call them again.

I was flipping a gasket when they were very late. The party before me had consumed about three extra hrs of my time on extra storage rooms they had forgotten to mention when booking the mover. My solution would be to always book early in the morning. The crew themselves were extremely helpful and cheerful considering that they had already spent 7 hrs on another job. they put me in a decent mood and they were very competent and helpful. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that this sort of thing rarely happens.

A & R Movers came through for me at the very last minute, and I couldn't be happier with their service. My original mover: Jay @ Emove USA did not show up, and I was left with an apartment full of furniture and no way to move it. I began calling around, and the wonderful receptionist at A & R found me a truck and 2 movers for the very same day. She kept me informed, and let me know exactly when they would arrive at my house. The price was reasonable for such last minute service, and I was amazed by the speed and efficiency in which the two gentlemen moved everything - nothing was damaged or broken, and I felt completely confident leaving them to do their job without my supervision. I highly recommend this moving company, and would absolutely use them again. Thank you so much for bailing me out of a difficult situation!

I had received very good reviews from people at work who had used them in the past, and they lived up the reputation. The uniformed men were clean, friendly, and very experienced. I would highly recommend them.

Pros: professional, efficient, motivated

Cons: 40 min late due to their first job going little longer, but they called me ahead
