Under cover of night, I snuck up real close and rang the Liberty Bell with my ball peen hammer. The resonance shattered my eyeglass lenses. Will was very understanding, recounting his own eyewear incident chipping off a hunk of Plymouth Rock, and made my new glasses ASAP. Modern Eye is fantastic!

already wrote a review for the Modern Eye in West Philly. I recently got a new pair of glasses and thought I'd try the Center City location. I was not disappointed. It's a great looking place and the staff is amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me pick out a cool frame by Mykita, cool and modern (hey! just like the name Modern Eye!).

Don't fall for the hype of other places. This place beats them all. Amazing staff, cool doctors, ultra cool decor, ultra, ultra cool eyeglasses. And great prices. I've been to them all and this place beats them hands down.

Fantastic, personalized service with a great collection of glasses. It is a chic setting in the heart of the City. Highly recommended.
