Stiff, cheap drinks in a relaxed environment. A friendly local watering hole with no pretense. Walk-up bar, free peanuts and no TV's. There's a free pool and shuffle board tables. High ceilings and old decor. Some older pinball games in the back. Great place to meet up with friends and talk. Weekend nights are a little more crowded and have a few more hipsters. Large artist community in Georgetown, so you are in a good spot to meet some interesting people. You don't need to change out of your work attire to drink at the nine pound. Most of the people are normal and friendly. This is as far from the over-priced “hot spot” bars as you can get and still have the most of the clientele be young and attractive.
Pros: A great bar.

great drinks, charming atmosphere, prompt and attentive service, semi-outdoor seating and interesting local patronage.
Pros: atmosphere, service
Cons: sometimes very crowded
