Great Food! Great Service! Great Price!

by mr_nick

What more can I say? Well, a lot actually. Pho Viet Anh is a wonderful little restaurant I would recommend to anyone. My wife and I have tried numerous items off of the menu and not been disappointed once. The pho is excellent and authentic. The service is warm and embracing. Henry, the proprieter, goes out of his way to make every one of his customers feel welcome and special. Where typically pho restaurants have focused on economical and quick food, Henry has stepped the market up a notch. Look out Tahn Bros. The restaurant is clean, the food is of excellent quality and the service is unparalleled. I can only hope that this level of quality does not decline. They have set themselves apart from the crowd.

  • Pros: HENRY!!!
  • Cons: I actually feel guilty when I'm not eating there ;)

Good and fresh!

by opinionontheroad

A great place for a fresh, reasonably priced and delicious lunch. Super-fresh veggies and I like that they use washable chopsticks!

  • Pros: Good, fresh food.
  • Cons: A bit cramped, but still has a charming "hole in the wall" hide away vibe.

Best Pho, and Vegetarian

by duckyfuzz9

I'm only writing this because it's usually not crowded and I want them to have more business. If it were otherwise, I wouldn't share what we've found. This place is awesome. Wonderful Pho, great spring/summer rolls.

  • Pros: Food
  • Cons: It's not across the street from my house

The Best Pho in Seattle!!

by tesong

I discovered Pho Viet Anh a number of months ago and only wish I had come across it sooner. It is by far my favorite place to dine out because of the warm, clean, friendly atmosphere and DELICIOUS food. Henry is always a pleasure to see - his delightful attitude always puts us in the best of moods. After trying countless pho restaurants around Seattle, my entire family has concluded that the pho at Pho Viet Anh is by far the best we have ever had. I am impressed with the large selection of healthy meals, including delicious vegetarian dishes that are often hard to find. The prices are fantastic, and I would recommend Pho Viet Anh to anyone looking for a warm, cozy, delicious meal at a great price. The restaurant is great for singles, couples, and families alike!

  • Pros: Clean, Affordable, Easy Parking, Excellent Service!
  • Cons: None!

Best all around dining experience on Queen Anne

by cory98103

My girlfriend and I recently discovered Pho Viet Anh.

Since discovering this jewel, we have dined there over a dozen times. This is one of our favorite restaurants. It is affordable, fast, friendly, and an all around great dining experience.

Henry and Carol own the restaurant and obviously take great pride in their establishment. The restaurant is cozy, in the evening the lighting and tapestries create a romantic environment.

When we visit, Henry greets us by name and makes us feel at home. We like to start with some hot tea while trying to decide what to order. In our many visits, we have ordered most of the vegetarian and chicken dishes.

The chicken and vegetarian Pho are delicious. The Vegetarian Fresh Spring Rolls are amazing. The chicken and vegetarian curry dishes are to die for. Yesterday I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken, which I loved.

If you are looking for a great place for Vietnamese food, this is the place.

  • Pros: Convenient location on Queen Anne, great Ambience, clean bathrooms

Great little Pho Place

by ryynoo

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lower Queen Anne. The Pho is good and there is a wide variety of vegetarian fare. Their vegetarian pho is a rarity in that it is completely vege, no chicken broth. The staff, Henry and Carol, are super nice and friendly and the food is a great value. Their deck is a great place to sit outside and enjoy a beer or white wine with some yummy Vietnamese food. Enjoy!

  • Pros: Value, Warm Staff, Tasty

Favorite restaurant in our neighborhood!

by rk1234

I am so glad this place opened! Pho Viet Anh has fresh, delicious food, a relaxing atmosphere, hospitable owners and great prices. What more could you ask for? The pho is some of the tastiest I have had; the other dishes on the menu are outstanding. The first time we ate here, we were so pleased! The second time, I swore it was the best meal I had eaten in ages. I was getting so burned out on overpriced, mediocre food on Queen Anne, but Pho Viet Anh has stepped in to save the day. Seriously, support this business--the owner is so kind and they really know what they are doing. Delicious!

  • Pros: Excellent food
  • Cons: Absolutely none!

This place is the BEST!!

by naturedoc

This is so not your average pho place!

Food - The pho broth is savory and delicious, and they don't use MSG in their food. Though it's hard for me to stray from my favorite (the pho), the spring rolls are absolutely tasty, and the short ribs are incredible, slightly crispy on the edges and marinated in something delicious (I have no idea what). I've brought a lot of friends here and every single one of them has loved it, no matter what they ordered. They serve a lot more than just pho, so there is always something for everyone.

Atmosphere - most pho restaurants I've been to are more like diners, where the idea is to get you in, feed you quickly, get your money and get you out. Pho Viet Anh is a real restaurant with nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service. Henry the owner always makes us feel like special customers and the rest of the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Cleanliness - the other pho places I've been to, are fairly scary on the cleanliness scale. The spoons and tables often have sticky stuff on them, and the bathrooms are such that I have to force from my mind the idea that the cooks ever use them (and forget about going in them myself!). Pho Viet Anh is always clean and fresh - including the bathrooms.

Extra Stuff - They have a patio for outdoor dining and now serve beer and wine.

The only bad thing about Pho Viet Anh, is that I am ruined for other pho restaurants. After we had been going here for a couple of months, they were closed one day so we decided to go to another pho place. We left stinky from the smell of pho and feeling gross from all the MSG. I've never gone back to the other place and now that Pho Viet Anh is open on Sundays, I don't have to miss out any time I get the craving for my favorite comfort food.

I highly recommend this restaurant it has become one of my favorite places to eat.
