Our favorite Asian cuisine by Tammy K. at InsiderPages

You know it's going to be good when you go in and most of the many tables are filled with Asians. You can't beat the seafood dishes, the vegetables are fresh, portions are huge and prices are great. Sometimes it takes a while as they are very busy with dine in and take out, but it's worth it. The sezchuan style prawns are the best.

best chinese outside Seattle

by fu_dee at Citysearch

Whoever wrote the Yuck Yuck review clearly doesn't like real Chinese food. This is very good authentic Chinese food. The seafood is great, the hotpots are fantastic. It's like Shanghai Garden but not Americanized and with a greater selection of seafood dishes.

Authentic Chinese food!

by jennyyn at Citysearch

Since both my parents are from China and I was raised eating REAL Chinese food, I'm really picky about my Chinese restaurants. T&T is the only Chinese eatery that I'll set foot in outside of Seattle or Bellevue. How do you know if a place serves authentic Chinese food? Go for dinner on a weekend and see if there are any large Chinese families eating there. If you don't see more than two such families there, run. At T&T, weekend diners are predominantly Chinese.

Order the seafood dishes, noodles, sizzling platters and hot pots and you won't be sorry. However, if you're not adventurous and will only eat Americanized Chinese food (why?), get the Orange Chicken with Broccoli, which has a lot more flavor than the bland Lemon Chicken.

Lunch specials seem to be aimed at those looking for the Americanized dishes. I recommend that you skip those lunch specials, bring at least one friend, and order the regular menu items, which are all served family style.

  • Pros: Authentic Chinese food, great value, good portions, lots of parking
  • Cons: loud, extremely busy on weekend evenings

There are a lot of mediocre chinese restaurants in this area, and this is not one of them

Yucky yuck yuck. Is not good chinese food. Chow mein wasn't satisfying, soup is mediocre, has lunch value, but it's not really value if it's food you don't like.

  • Pros: Nice atmoshphere. I love those big tables with the lazy susan's
  • Cons: Food, service

Good Food In a Good Atmosphere

by sione at Citysearch

I enjoy frequenting this place in Edmonds. It is located adjacent to the 99 Ranch Market on 99-N at just north of 220th. I haven't had anything that wasn't good and I'll typically always get their hot and sour soup and honey walnut prawns each time I'm in. Dish Delish.

  • Pros: Great food, easy parking,
  • Cons: Can get a bit crowded
