Wonderful product and service.

I have used Mermaid hair extensions for two years and love them. Now, not only does my hair look incredible with the extensions, but my own hair has never been healthier thicker or longer. My hair is protected from the heat treatments that I always had to use before I had the extensions. I love them and the wonderful girls at the salon. Purely professional and a lot of fun too!!!

They only do extensions here, so they really know what they are doing. Also the price is way lower than other salons I have tried.

Ten years Younger!

Thank You to the Girls at Mermaids! I am in love with my longer,beautiful hair. It makes me feel so much younger and more confident. My reunion was recently and everyone commented on how I had not changed a bit...little did they know it was really just my hair that made it seem that way. The girls assured me I could always come in for a follow up if I had any questions or wanted a complimentary haircut but now I am hooked on the length and want to keep it that way ~ Love You Guys!

Want great hair? This is amazing!

Mermaids are awesome!! From the moment I went to Mermaid Hair Extensions for a consultation I was sure that this was the right thing for me. My hair was a boring shoulder length - would break off and was thin. I chose the Full Mermaid and was extremely satisfied. It was long and the color highlighted my hair just perfect. The staff there is trained in color and cuts as well and knew how to my hair fit my face just right. They advised how to take care of them in great detail and they lasted way longer than I thought they would!! I have since been back 3 times and am a customer for LIFE!!

There might be a drawback but...

Extensions I got started kind of feeling dry and ends would split...which only proves the guys at the salon do use real human hair:) If you find yourself having the same type of issue - here is a solution: use their conditioner and shampoo (Pureology Antifade line). It's a bit expensive but works miracle. While the hair is still wet, apply Fructis anti-frizz serum (ends mainly). Let it air dry and then use a flat iron or curling iron (just a tad). The result will be incredible! The hair will be soft and shiny again. And more importantly, Cindy and her staff are always there for us. They do feel more like a family:) And they are very nice and helpful.

Feel beautiful!

The women at Mermaid not only performed a fantastic initial service but also had outstanding follow-up. At the end of May 2009 I went into Mermaid, miserable with my look. My hair was damaged by a previous salon and I had to cut off over 7 inches! Mermaid put in their amazing extensions and I feel like myself again.

The bonds they used do NOT damage my hair (confirmed by my non-Mermaid stylist) and actually protect my hair from the daily heat and stress it suffers. In addition, the hair they used is beautiful -- and matches my texture, unlike other extension services I have used in the past.

On top of that, their follow up services is above and beyond my expectations. About a month and a half after my initial visit, Mermaid reexamined my hair, made corrections, and sent me off feeling gorgeous.

I have at least two more full extension visits before my hair is back to normal and I trust Mermaid to help me through until I am myself again. I would highly recommend Mermaid of Kirkland -- they make you feel beautiful again!

Wonderful place to go and be beautified

This was my very first time getting extensions and I have naturally curly hair. Many of the other salons that I spoke with during my researching phase told me that it would cost more because naturally curly hair is harder to come by. Do not be fooled by their gimmics such as "they last as long as 8 month" "no damage done to you hair" ect. The only real place that is honest about what you get is Mermaid Extensions. My experience was wonderful. The ladies were helpful in putting my fears to rest and reassured me that everything is going to be fine. I went in for my consultation on a Wednesday and they applied my extensions that Saturday. It only took them about 2 1/2 hours to do them and I walked out of their with beautiful long naturally curly hair. I got them done right before thanksgiving and had family photos that weekend. No one could tell that I had extensions in and I received tons of complements on my hair. I am definantely going to go back after the 3-4 months and have a mini-mermaid done to keep the extensions going.

Like all new things they take a little getting used to but after a few days it just feels natural. My head felt heavy for the first few days but come Monday morning it all felt natural. They did such a wonderful job matching the texture and the color to my natural hair that everything blends together and you cannot tell I have extensions.

If you are even contiplating getting extensions set-up a consultation with these ladies and your mind will be made up, mine was. They wil put in a sample extension and leave it in for you so you can feel what it is like.

P.S. this was the only salon on the eastside and seattle that included the removal and maintenance in the original price of the extensions. Other salons... gene juarez, aveda etc charge you extra and their extensions are much much more expensive.

Thank you ladies for the wonderful job and making me happy, proud of my hair, and for getting me hooked! :-)

OMG I have long hair again!!!

I had long hair down to my bottom for a very long time and out of the blues I decided to chop off my hair because I fell into the "Victoria Beckham bob" trend. That was the biggest mistake ever for me. I missed my long hair and I didn't have the patient to wait 6 plus years to grow my hair out again. I did some research online to check out the many methods and options of hair extension available and thank goodness I came across Mermaid Extension website. It took me a long time to finally decide to get extensions and so for my birthday, I convinced my fiance to pay for my extensions. It was the best gift ever!! I love my extensions so much. The talented women that brought life to my short, dull hair are absolutely amazing. I recieved so many compliments on how natural and real my extension looked. I feel like my extension is an entity on its own because many people who knows me always ask how my hair is doing! To keep it short, I am absolutely thrilled to have come across Mermaid Extensions. The quality is exceptional and the service is priceless. Thank you so much! Now I don't have to pout looking at old videos and photos of myself with long hair because I have long, beautiful hair again! :)

Luvin my hair!!!

I first went to mermaid a year ago this month. My hair was a little over an inch long, growing out from a group of us girls shaving our heads to support a friend in a losing battle with cancer.

There was a concern that my hair may be too short to blend but Cindi (the owner) said she would give it a try.

Cindi and her girls gave me perfectly blended shoulder length hair. I fell in love with the look and thickness the extensions have provided.They lasted me between 3 and 4 months. I have had my hair redone 3 times now, and everytime I have looked forward to visiting with the girls while they make me feel and look beautiful.

The product has been consistant and the bonds have not damaged my hair in the least.

THank you ladies for making me feel like a girl again!!
