As I was strolling along on Alki Beach one Saturday evening, I was moved and touched by the aroma of some mouthwatering food from a Thai restaurant across the beach. The name of the restaurant is called ‘Siam Pura’ . it’s facing to the beach with beautiful Seattle’s scenario. Coming in from a comfortable evening, we were greeted by the owner who smile broadly and served us with lemon-flavored ice water together with a uniquely-made wooden menu. Our hearts were swelling with pride as if we were the VIP. We started with Zesty Prawn as appetizer, followed by Chicken Tom Kah Soup then, ended with Seafood Elite to eat with Thai Brown Rice. And we eventually finished our meal with Thai Custard topped with Honey. We were extremely stuffed and ground ourselves savoring the heavenly fragrance of the food. The price is so reasonable that we couldn’t resist to order Kang Kua with Prawn, Beef Pad Thai with side Peanut Sauce as a ‘Take Out’ to save them as our Sunday’s lunch. It was really a memorable evening. And for us with the scent of song and the aroma of the food which still keep on lingering in our mind, we have to go back again for sure. Isn’t it good to run away from the hustle and bustle of the city to savor authentic Thai food with the sea and the sandy beach view? TWO THUMBS UP!

I have been to many restaurant in Seattle and Siam Pura is the best Thai restaurant in town. The restaurant is under new management and the service is excellent. All the dishes I had here are delicious. Chicken satay and Zesty prawn are to die for. Crispy duck and Salmon mongo are excellent. Since the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, I got a chance to sit on the patio and enjoy a stunning view of the Alki beach and Seattle landscape. Excellent restaurant
Pros: excellent food, nice view, good service

Went to lunch here after a walk along Alki. Great spot with nice views and an outdoor deck. In spite of asking for the food to be HOT, it was the mildest Thai food I've ever had. The flavors tasted more Chinese, I had a sense that Chinese seasonings were being used rather than Thai. When questioned, the waitress insisted that the owners were in fact Thai. With so much Thai food in Seattle, I wouldn't recommend this as a place to go.
Pros: Deck, view and location
Cons: So so food
