I love when I walk into the Barking Lounge with my dog and they greet her by name! We don't take our dog here too often so it always impresses me when they remember her. I love that I can look for her on the web cam and see how much funs she's having. When I picked her up, they even had a cute little "doggy report card" that told me about her day. They said that she was very sweet and cuddly with the staff and they even named a few of her new "friends". :) It was adorable! I hung it on the refrigerator. :) I'm not an expert on Seattle doggy daycares but the price seems a little bit steep. And they close at 5pm on the weekends. It'd be nice if they closed at 7pm, like they do on weekdays. Another con is that it's an all-indoor location and she only gets taken out twice per day. I understand that they have lots of dogs to walk, but I let my dog out at least 4 times per day. I hope she's okay holding it. Overall, I love this place. I am totally confident that they will take good care of my dog and she always comes home exhausted. I love it.

Pros: AWESOME staff, webcam and report cards!

Cons: Shorter hours on weekends, not much outside time for dogs

I've been taking my dog to the Barking Lounge for over a year. He LOVES the staff and his furry friends! I haven't had any problems with the staff--in fact, they have called me after a stay if they noticed anything out of the ordinary. I like the webcam, too, since it's nice to know that I can check on him while I'm away!

Pros: location, staff, webcam

The owner and staff of this business are disorganized, confrontational, and lack critical commucation skills and the minimal skills to take care of doggies. Our two dogs were left in the kennel they shared ( a small kennel) for 32 hours before contacting us ( we were out of town) regarding a paperwork omission that I was told was an mistake they had made, and that I had to correct it via fax before they would let our doggies out of they're kennel to be in the open play area. The owner aurgued with me....stating the I was not considered a customer.....and that my doggies would not be released out of the kennel until I corrected the oversight that his staff had made. The minute we could return to Seattle, my husband and I picked up our doggies. This staff and owner displayed Darwinism at it best. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOGGIE DAYCARE. S&S

Cons: Horrible experience for our doggies....horrible experience for my husband and I!

We (us and our dog) LOVE the barking lounge. Always friendly and helpful and our dog has a great time - and you can check on them during the day with their webcam!
