I went to New Look Beauty Salon after reading a couple of reviews from women who had Emily do balyage on their hair. I was a little nervous about it but am totally and completely happy with what Emily did. My hair looks great! I'm a natural blonde but over the years my hair has darkened. Emily's balyage technique left me looking blonde, very natural, not over done. I am really really happy with the outcome. Highly recommend her! The price was great too. Cute salon, very clean, not intimidating, friendly. Can't say enough!

I have recently had the Japanese hair straightening done on my hair. My hair has never looked better! I used to have curly, unruly hair, but now the entire texture of the hair is straight and shiny. When I get out of the shower, my hair stays straight and it only takes me about 5 minutes to fix my hair. It really was worth every penny, and I highly recommend to anyone who wants your hair straightened.

I went here because of the recommendations I read on this website. Big mistake. My color, which took hours and was extremely expensive, was not at all what I asked for. I requested highlights and emphasized my desire that they look natural. I walked away with all-over color and extreme streaks. I cried this morning when I got a look at it again. Nice people but problematic at best.

I didn't know anything about BALAYAGE until I met Emily of New Look Beauty Salon. I was there for a highlight last wednesday, and she performed a technique called BALAYAGE on my hair. This is an innovative technique developed by the French, which is more like an art as it's hand painted instead of traditional foil for highlight/hair coloring. The result was a lot better than I had expected, and my hair has never looked this natural before. Now I know why my friend said Emily is a master in hair coloring!

Emily is the most wonderful waxing professional I've ever met. Her friendly personality makes you feel instantly comfortable, and she knew exactly what she was doing. Of course it hurt, but it was so quick, and she did everything to make it as pleasant as possible. I've been going now every month, and every time it's easier and easier. New Look Beauty Salon is the place to go!

I cannot express how happy I am with the hair color & cut I received last Tuesday afternoon at New Look Beauty Salon. I've been searching and searching over the past year for a salon, that would be attentive & actually care about how my hair turned out. Due to my failure in finding a good stylist/colorist, my hair was over-processed, dry, breaking, and overall, just horrible! I've paid way too much money on higher priced salons, just to be terribly upset with the results. This was my last chance. I was giddy with laughter as I left New Look. Overjoyed & utter relief is how I felt. After all of my bad experiences, and to find such a gem is a wonderful feeling. This is going to be my permanent salon from now on. Thank you Emily, you're the best!

After enjoying services from Emily for over a year, I find the quality of attention to my hair and waxing services to be consistently superior. My (short) haircuts have been left to her design and are genuinely flattering and look good for a long time. She is talented with color and offers creative suggestions with results that bring complements. Her waxing services are effective and gentle. Emily is professional yet friendly, making everyone feel warm and welcome. A real "feel good" experience with results that last!

I walked in, no appointment. Fast service with a great smile! I spent an enjoyable 30 minutes in Emily's (Kimyen) chair. She has a great eye for detail and spent an abundant amount of time making sure everything was even and precise. All this an she was quick too! Thanks! Chocolate was great also! ;)

Emily does the most amazing highlights you have ever seen - they grow out beautifully so you don't feel ugly in between touch-ups. I get so many compliments on both my cut and color. No one can interpret what you want like Emily - she does exactly what you ask, and better!

Emily is fantastic! I went to her for help after I dyed my highlighted hair dark brown. She performed an absolute miracle and returned it back to a delightful, flattering blond in about 2 hours with zero damage. Honestly, my hair has felt much healthier since she colored it than it did prior to the service. She also gave me what I think is the best haircut I've ever had - it looks great and it's incredibly easy to deal with. It's been two weeks and the cut /color still look wonderful, and I've received tons of compliments! She's really knowledgeable about hair, and explains everything she's doing - which was great for me because I was slightly terrified about how my hair would turn out. Emily is as great as everyone says! A definite YAY for Emily!

Pros: Very talented, knows what works, personable and friendly
