Maid in the Northwest is a terrific company!. I have been a customer of Maid in the Northwest since the Fall of 2011. I have a family of five which includes an elderly mother that I care for. My husband and I both work which makes cleaning the house very difficult and leaves no time for leisure. Melissa has been wonderful and makes sure that my house is sparkling every Wednesday! This makes me able deal with other issues such as organizing things and working in the garden. Melissa brings her own products or uses products that I have purchased to try. Best Cleaning Ever. I have always been a little hesitant when hiring a house cleaner but decided to go with a company that's been around awhile this time. I am very happy I made this decision. I came home and the house smelled fabulous and she even cleaned off the outdoor furniture on my front porch. First time that has EVER happened! Great job done.…

Poor cleaning, poor customer service. We have a one story 3 bedroom one small bath house. We were quoted that it would take 3 hours to clean the whole thing. What we got was one small bath cleaned, and two rooms vacuumed. And our sliding glass door windexed. We returned after 3 hours and were informed by the (un-friendly) cleaner, that her time was up. If she would like us to clean any of the bedrooms it would be an additional charge. ???? Nothing was dusted, there was dirt along the edges and corners of all the tile floors. When we called to complain, we were told the cleaner that came to our house is their best and has never had any complaints. So if we wanted anyone to come finish the job, it would be extra.??? Basically we were told to deal with it. So if you want to pay $115 to have someone clean one small bathroom, vacuum two rooms, and windex one sliding glass door, then this is the company for you.…

Great people, great job!. Last week I had my house cleaned by Maid in the NW. My house was cleaner than I'd get it in triple the time. There's nothing like professionals to get the job scheduled and done right! It starts with the office staff - they ask all the right questions. And it doesn't end with the cleaners either - I know that the same great couple that cleaned my house this time will be "my" cleaners in the future. I am delighted with this service! Horrible - do not use this service. This company took my credit card information over the phone. Quoted me $100 to clean my house - charged my credit card $215 2-days before they even were scheduled to clean. Turns out they pre-authorize your card and don't even tell you.

Then the cleaner calls me twice because he can't find my house. I live in Magnolia - on a major street. And he was a nasty about it. Have you heard of google maps? Told me he was going to charge me $50 for cancelling.

Called Maid in the Northwest back to tell them to not bother - not worth it. The woman on the phone is rude. "Your loss" is what she said. Another woman did call me back later and tried to apologize but I was done. I did not want these people to have a key to my house.

They charged me $215 already - who knows what they would have done if they had a key to my house. Horrible!!!!…
