no more headaches!

I’ve always been very skeptical of chiropractors. I’ve played sports my whole life and grew up with sports medicine clinics and orthopedic surgeons. After years of migraines that kept increasing in frequency and intensity, I decided to give chiropractic treatment a chance. I’m SO glad I found Lake Union Wellness! I haven’t had a single migraine since my first day of treatment. The doctors are thorough and knowledgeable, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I’ll be a fan for life and don’t hesitate to refer anyone and everyone!

Lake Union Wellness

This place is great from the receptionist to the massage therapist and, of course, Dr. Vevoda. She has helped me with my low back pain that I had for years. I had given up hope that anyone would be able to help. I tried physical therapy, pay check after pay check on medications, massages, heat packs...you name it. I regret not going sooner.

If you want lasting results, then go see Dr. Vevoda.

Lake Union Chiropractic Clinic

I've been to a few chiropractors in my day and I can easily say Dr. Stefan is top of the line. He is very thorough and has great technique. His extensive training and his commitment to continued education make him extremely knowledgeable in the field of chiropractic care. He makes sure to take the time to personally address each of his patients needs.

I was in a serious rollover auto accident over a year ago. The recovery process from this kind of accident is slow and difficult. Having the support and professionalism that Dr. Stefan and his clinic provide is the difference between night and day. I can't say how great it is to have traction, adjustments, physical therapy, and massage all in the same location. Initially I felt constant pain and wasn't even able to stand with my eyes closed. I'm now pain-free, back to playing sports, and can walk a beam backwards, eyes-closed.

Dr. Stefan is the best I've seen. He gets full marks and my highest recommendation!

they've really 'got my back'

Dr. Steffen's really 'got my back'. I've got a large spinal curve (far from normal) and Dr. Steffen not only keeps me mostly pain free with regular spinal adjustments, he treats the actual curvature with traction and other therapies to ideally move my spine back close as possible to a normal position.

In addition, Dr. Steffen keeps all my joints moving well so my athletic endeavors can be as successful as possible.

Really, I've had lots of chiropractors as I've moved across the country and he is at the top of my list.

His partner, Dr. Vevoda uses the same leading edge techniques and is just as excellent.

So, great location, great new office, great therapies, great atmosphere, great services and of course, great chiropractors.

Great Care, Great Atmosphere

I have seen Dr. Ted for a long time. Dr Ted is an amazing chiropractor. His technique is great, his adjustments are very comfortable. I have had a number of adjustments and Dr Ted is definetely the best. Very Easy to get to right off I 5. See him if you have any type of pain or symptoms you wont be dissapointed.

Honest Chiropractor

I just moved to Seattle from Colorado and have had chiropractic care since I was a kid. Dr. Steffen was very thorough in his exam and review of the findings. He told me because I have been under regular care and because my X-rays looked very good that I only needed an occasional maintenence adjustment - he did not try to sell me on a big treatment plan that I didn't need. Thank you.

University District Super Star

The whole clinic is a great place to get care. I had neck pain and headaches from too many hours at the lab. I do research for a local biotech and I get the typical postural pain associated with work. I knew the excessive caused a lot of back and neck pain but I never really put together the other problems it was causing - the overall stress to my body. Now that I have it under control my sleep has gotten much better and I'm much more relaxed with my kids. I had no idea it was all related. Thank you, Dr. Ted for going above and beyond my expectations!

• Cons: limited free parking, my insurance is bad (not his fault!)

great chiropractic clinic

I am a student at University of Washington and was in a car accident in Christmas. I was under care for 5 months and had complete resolution of symptoms. It was nice to have both massage therapy and chiropractic at the same location. Also, Dr. Steffen was very good about giving me tons of home exercises and stretches. It was great care but I'm glad it's over!

quite the healer

I spent 22 years in almost constant pain. Doctors kept giving me pain meds until I developed ulcers then they just threw up their hands and had nothing else to offer. I had accepted the fact that I was stuck with the pain forever. It had gotten to the point that I could hardly make it up the stairs in my own house. At age 40 I was hobbling around like my 80 year old grandfather. A friend of mine kept insisting I should see a chiropractor so I finally made an appointment and was only going to go once so I could tell my friend that I had seen a chiropractor so she would stop insisting. Well, 2 years later I'm still seeing Dr Steffen. He gave me my life back. In fact, he helped me achieve better health than I have ever had before. I no longer have to take medication for cardiac arrhythmias and tachycardia. I walk 3-5 miles almost every morning, I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, I go biking and hiking, I even went rafting for the first time and can't wait to do it again! I can do everything now! Dr Steffen is quite the healer! Since he moved to Seattle I have to drive an hour to see him but he's worth it!
