Back Pain Gone!

I love Dr. Ted, he does nothing but perform miracles, my back pain has been getting progressivley worse the longer I have worked in an office and sat a chair all day. Lake Union Wellness understands posture and spinal health to extent to wear they were able to get mine back in shape and feel healthy again.

Top Notch Chiropractic

By far one of the most thorough chiropractors I have seen in Seattle. The exam was thorough and the chiropractic therapy was very good. I have a busy schedule and they did their best to make my schedule work with theirs. So far I am impressed with the service I have received at Lake Union Wellness.

Completely healed!

I went to Toni for deep tissue massage for acute tendinitis (computer overuse). I was in a lot of pain! I went to Toni for about six visits and after that time I was completely healed! One year later I am 100% pain free. Toni is very professional and personable. I have sent my husband there for back problems (wakeboard overuse) and they were able to heal his back as well.

Wow wish I found this place sooner

One problem with chiropractors that I have found. Once you realize it works and you have back problems they try to get you go 3 times a week. My back is a little messed up, but 3 times a week?

Dr. Ted helped put a treatment plan together where I only have to go once a month and I still feel good. If I am in a lot of pain I move the appointment up sooner. So far his adjustments and techniques have been great.

Excellent Massage Therapy

I chose Lake Union Wellness due to proximity to where I work. I needed massage for a repetitive stress injury (numbness in my shoulder). They billed L&I so I didn't have to hassle with that. I had about 18 massages by Toni and was very satisfied. Toni is probably the most professional massage therapist I've ever seen, and I've had over 50 massages from various providers. She does a short interview at the beginning of each session. During the massage she communicates as much or little as you desire. She even accommodates your music preferences. I would recommend Toni and Lake Union Wellness to anyone who asks.

I love Lake Union Wellness

No more neck and back pain! I can finally roll around on the floor with my 20 month old baby boy!!! Dr. Steffen and the staff at Lake Union Wellness were so kind to me and assured me that they stay up to date with their chiropractic procedures. While in the seating area I talked with a man who had been in a horrible car accident. He was waiting for his wife to get done with her appointment. He told me how Dr. Steffen had been recommended to him by his physical therapist as part of a holistic approach to getting him back to his old self. He had nothing but great things to say and now I am saying great things too. I will be making my husband go too as his back has been hurting for a while too.

Lake Union Wellness

Lake Union Wellness seems very modern compared to other clinics. Dr. Steffen is easy to talk to and very knowledgable. I go there for massages, and the massage staff is terrific, I think they only hire the best. Also, the location is great, easy parking in South Lake Union. The space is nice too, with high lofty ceilings it feels nice to be there.

Topnotch, integrated care to fix a pain in the neck

I didn't know what to expect after having some mixed outcomes from chiropractic care in the past, but knew I needed to get help for my neck pain. I was referred to this clinic because of Dr. Steffen's approach which goes far beyond just "getting cracked" over and over with no clear goals. He takes x-rays before and after so you can see the problem and then later see if the treatment is really working. He provides specific exercises to realign your body to it's correct posture. Traction is used to retrain the body as well. This 3-tiered approach has worked for me, as my neck moved back much closer to it's proper alignment. The severe pain stopped just weeks after the treatments began. The receptionist, traction assistant and masseuses are all wonderful. I trust the excellent team there and received excellent customer service too!

Awesome staff, Fabulous treatment

I highly recommend Dr. Steffen and the staff at Lake Union Wellness. Their modern, integrated approach to care is unmatched, and they are just plain pleasant to deal with. Since I began chiropractice treatment with Dr. Steffen (about 3 months ago), I have not suffered a single headache. Quite a relief, since I used to get what I thought were tension headaches about once a week. And the funny thing is- I didn't seek chriropractic care for headache relief- it was just a lucky outcome. I have been very pleased with my experiences at Lake Union Wellness and would recommend it to anyone!

no more headaches!

I’ve always been very skeptical of chiropractors. I’ve played sports my whole life and grew up with sports medicine clinics and orthopedic surgeons. After years of migraines that kept increasing in frequency and intensity, I decided to give chiropractic treatment a chance. I’m SO glad I found Lake Union Wellness! I haven’t had a single migraine since my first day of treatment. The doctors are thorough and knowledgeable, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I’ll be a fan for life and don’t hesitate to refer anyone and everyone!
