I spent two years in Japan where dry cutting is SO popular just to move home and not be able to find anyone who does it....until ROBERT cut my hair! He actually does the REAL dry cutting technique! If you have only had your hair cut wet you have to go see him. You'll definitely get the best haircut of your life!!!

Duque is my FAVORITE place to go and have ALL my services done! Autumn is the best at waxing and facials (LOVE HER!!!). You have to check this spot out!

If you haven't made it to duque you're missing out! As a 4th grade art teacher getting relaxation time is a necessity for me! I strolled in one Sunday crossing my fingers I could get in for something, anything. The front desk was more than accommodating. I saw Autumn for a seaweed body wrap and facial and....WOW! The heated bed! The steam! The touch! It was indeed the best two hours of pampering I've had ever. I will surely be back.

Before I moved I worked as a makeup artist for duque and I have to say they have one of the best makeup bars in Seattle. They feature gloMinerals, an extensive mineral line with amazingly fashion forward colors (no bare and boring here) Plus Julie Hewett's screen siren line and the Balm's vegan and paraben free makeup. I truly miss you guys at duque and your makeup rocks! Love Aimers! P.S. Here's a tip for all you clients. They offer totally FREE makeup touch-ups after any service and they very generously always make sure they have a makeup artist to offer this service. Try it out!

Bought a gift certificate there and loved the vibe. Reminded me totally of living in San Fran. The service selection was unsurpassed for Seattle as well. I had kind of given up on finding a great salon and spa for my partner and I until I found this place. Awesome atmosphere, pretty hot male hairdressers too =) I definitely recommend it!

Never been for services but have to say I love the huge selection of jewelry that's trendy, well made, of the moment and for ONCE not SO EXPENSIVE (Sorry Olivine, just can't afford $150 necklaces) Great finds.

Pros: Jewelry selection, Prices, Customer Service,

Cons: Get it while you can, they seem to rarely get in more than a couple of each style....

I am one of the owners of duque salon spa and boutique. I come from a family of four generations of hairdressers. I work with my entire family and each of us is committed to great customer service. I was trained in NY city by some of the best in the business...Sassoon, Sorbie, and Sahag just to name a few. I have been licensed in five states, I have educated other hairdressers, done hair in theater, print ads, t.v., and film . I have also done the hair of Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, Kelly McGillis, Payne Stewart and way too many more to name here..and you know what...who cares??? NO ONE.....I believe that the only thing that people care about is getting the perfect haircut for their face shape and silhouette. I believe in giving value for the dollar, especially in today's economy. I believe in an honest day's pay for an honest day's work and I believe that all the people writing negative and false reviews about myself and my family should get a life and get out of mine. We are not jealous of anyone, nor do we think we are better human beings than any one else...we just want to serve our community by providing a great service in a beautiful atmosphere. Please judge us on your own experience.

Stay away bad people bad srvice i cannot express enough owner is pompous and arrogant claiming she only wears prada could not be caught dead in anything else very rude and mean not all people wear prada lady anyway hers looks like nada

I stopped in to duque for a gift card and was impressed by the front desk girl Nikki. She didn't just sell me the most expensive service but rather chose something for me that I knew my Mom would enjoy. Really saved me some gift shopping in a pinch and even gave me a free hand cream sample. Gotta say it was quite a change from the regular "spa attitude" I've been dished out at other places. Thanks duque.
