HOLY COW!

by CCarter

Most chain pizza is bad. Really, really bad. So the bar is set pretty low for a place like Bambino's that actually makes great pizza. They make a good crust, it's not too greasy, and they've got some nice combinations if you're not creative enough to come up with new ideas yourself. I like the Sila with spicy calabrese sausage.

terrible service

by MEmeME

i ordered for a meeting for my boss. not only was the pizza late for the meeting, none of the special instructions were followed, which left me scrambling for plates and napkins for a lunch meeting that was already late. i was promised a reimbursement, and never received one. in apology, until i received my actual gift certificate, was given two wrinkly little coupons for small two topping pizzas that, of course, no one would make a delivery for without a 20 dollar order. no i didn't make them millions in catered events. i have a tiny non-profit i was going to use them for. and our business is small. however, whenever i was asked to order food for a meeting i ALWAYS ordered from Bambino's. no one else wanted to order from them after the tasting. but i admired their ingenuity. long and short i was eventually told (after waiting over a month for them to make reparations) that we did not pump in enough money to their business to warrant their wanting to make any extra effort, even though i was promised again and again a certificate i never received. i was told my wrinkly little coupons more than covered the expense of my order. thanks... a small business that doesn't care about other small business. you ought to do real well in corporate america stomping on the little guy.

oh and watch their reviews on sites like this, i seem to find profiles created simply to post a five star review. i'm sure a lot of folks do that... in fact... i was so displeased because the manager accused me of receiving a gift certificate and lying about it, on top of never letting me finish a single sentence on the phone... i created a profile to let people know the truth about the service.

i would not send anyone there. period.

  • Pros: decent pizza, works with local growers etc

I hope Italy is just as great....

by RonC1

My brother and his wife took me here while I visited them in Seattle. Of course, my eyes were bigger than my belly and I wanted more pizza going in. They convinced me that one pizza would be enough. We started with a large Milanese salad , which was a delectable assortment of Baby Greens, Gorgonzola, Walnuts, Grapes, Creamy Vinaigrette I think that was it. We shared a Nosttrana pizza, which had lots of garlic and spinach, and just the right crispy and thin crust.

Because it was a celebratory visit, we had to finish with the tiramisu, which was amazing. Creamy, fresh, and sweet.

My brother said , the woman that is managing the place is from Italy. Service was perfect and the atmosphere is warming. I hope Italy is just as great....

RUDE MANAGER!!!

by juliemi

Pizza has no taste and the manager there at the time was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! My boyfriend and I went 40 minutes out of our way to eat here b/c I had a gift card. After we ate our tasteless pizza we went to pay for our lunch with our gift card. The waitress came back and said her manager said we can't use it b/c it's been bought over a year ago. I looked at the card with confusion and it didnt' state any expiration date or anything on it. There was a number on the back to call and check our balance and it stated we had $30 on it. I took it to the cash register where the manager was and was very nice and explained what was going on. Right away she was extremely rude in telling us it's not her problem b/c they have no way of "reading" a card that is over a year old. I told her that we called the number on the back and it gave us a $30 balance. She said if there is a number to call to get the balance then we should call THEM and get our money back. I told her the number didn't give us any options and it just gave us a balance. She didn't care. Not only would it have been a good thing to give us a small discount since we got screwed, but not being nice about anything just lost them a customer. They not only need to learn how to make better pizza but they need to take a class on customer service.

Good for delivery ONLY

by erikalc

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant... The first time I went in I was planning to enjoy and evening out and eat there - that is until I found out they have no beer or wine - what good is a good pizza joint without a beer?? They also have very uncomfortable (and sparse) seating and the staff was definitely less than friendly. I still got my food to go and it was good. I absolutely LOVE the Mista Salad - delicious pine nuts, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes on spinach with a fantastic balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I have to admit I crave that salad often and still get delivery sometimes. The pizza is pretty good since I like a thin crispy crust, but it is always a little burned so my friends don't like it.

Overall I'd recommend for delivery but NOT for eating there.

  • Pros: Yummy Salads

"PERFECT PIZZA/SERVICE"

by Claudia51

We had Bambino's deliver 23 pizzas for an office party and I must say we will not be using anybody else from now on.Every pizza that was delivered was cooked to perfection. Many times when we order such large quantity some pizzas are neglected, but they made sure every pizza was done the right way. And most importantly they were on time. Go ahead and laugh, but there is nothing more stressful then having 60 people waiting for food and hearing the driver is lost. I also like that they have the option of fresh or shredded mozzarella at no cost, and they?re reasonably priced .

SEATTLES BEST DELIVERY PIZZA EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

by tinag206

I am addicted to this pizza. I got a menu on my door one day. It had the word delievery so I ordered. It was over for me. I love the Bianca Pizza and the in house made chicken sausage. All the ingredients are so fresh and yummy. I feel like I am back in New York eating pizza. It is a small bussiness. They have a proven track record that they care and have pride in what they make. I call for delievery once a week+. The guy on the phone knows me now. They are very nice and appreciative of your business on the phone. They are always on time. Extremely dog friendly!! I have the sweetest pitbull. It is still hard to convince delievery people that she is a love. Not these drivers they are so dog friendly. One driver even had a milk bone for my dog. They love the pups. I ordered bianca pizza and mista salad for the presidental debate. My friends were so impressed. Even my vegan friends where sold. I gave them all menus. This is definately amazing Seattle Pizzeria. They have got me ADDICTED!!! Watch out for the Bianca!!! It will get you!!!!

  • Pros: Delievery, Awesome food, Great people, Supporting small business
  • Cons: Nothing I have found at this time

banbinos bambinbos, soggy pizza

by kcw352

I ordered bambinos tonight. the pizza was a soggy mess. toppings still luke warm. I would say that it was cooked in a microwave but I think they rubbed some charcoal on the bottom for effect. Called to complain and the management was very defensive and rude. would not recommend to my fellow pizza afficionados. as a commited bambinos customer i feel as though i was not treated as a good customer. i once recomended them to my friends and random passer by's but now they will only pass by.

  • Pros: good product

SO good!

by 9chunilla

I have never had a bad pizza from this location, they always have done it right. Thin crust with the right amount of sauce, cheese and fresh ingredients. We love the Margherita Pizza from this location and will always come back for more! The BEST New York Style Pizza in Seattle hands down!

If you don't like the food they threaten to call the cops on you!

by sprynkles

I live 2 blocks from this place. There's sign in the window which advertises "overstuffed calizones" $7.95,

mmmmm that sounds great. My son and I went there for dinner, he ordered a pizza and I ordered a veggie calizone. The only seating is very uncomfortable odd wooden stools. We enjoyed it for what it was while we waited, which was only about 15 minutes. My calizone was an impressive huge looking thing, but burned on the top. I cut into it expecting what is usually stuffed into one of these things and it totally deflated, oozed tomato water on the plate and released a big puff of steam. I would wager that there may have been a quater of a cup of ingredients in it. If that. I've never seen such a thing. I told our once nice waitress that I didn't want it, and explained why. After never attending to us again, she brought the check and said the manager would not take the charge off for the calizone. I asked if I could speak with him and she turned away and said "do whatever". Let me tell you, this manager guy is flat out crazy. He absolutely refused to take it off the bill. I told him I thought it was inedible, he said "that's the way it is". He said if I didn't pay what was on the bill he'd call the cops on me. I said "but I didn't get anything, what am I paying for?" "You gotta pay this bill, that's the way it is". I asked for some sort of compensation because there was no way I was going to let this stressed out bully do this. After more odd insults and strange excuses, he finally offered me a salad. But he let me know that he was tired of people trying to get free food by complaining all the time. Mind you, I did not take one bite of that calizone.

I was so calm and collected and remained as pleasant as I possibly could, I did not want to make a scene.

This guy did not care if he made a scene. Wow, I just could not believe this strange behavior and the flat out rage this man had.

By the way, my son's pizza was reasonably good, and we did enjoy it.

  • Pros: Nice music reasonable prices.
  • Cons: Very hostile people work here. Very hot inside. Uncomfortable seating.
