Best facial ever!!
by T123456 at Citysearch
I just had an awesome facial at Calidora in Redmond. I was so excited about how my skin looked that I almost got in an accident b/c I couldn?t stop staring at my face in my rearview window as I was driving home. My aesthetician, Sakura, was phenomenal and I love the way my skin looks. She gave me some good info so I know more about what to do about my face issues. Once I go back to work (just had a baby) I?ll definitely go in for another one. I also had the free photo-imaging complexion analysis which also helped me learn a ton about my skin. They use the same machine that Oprah used on her show last week. Definitely worth it!
- Pros: Thourough skin analysis and recommendations after the service
Pricey and painful

I tried two laser hair removal treatments at Calidora and found little to no result. It was painful and uncomfortable. I found the facility to be beautiful and medical. I staff was knowledgable and informative.
- Cons: expensive and painful
Cool reception - no price list.

I've seen signs for the new skin care clinic so thought I'd walk in for a menu. The staff was clustered behind the counter, one of them on the phone giving out pricing for services. The other two look startled to see me and so I just asked for a menu and left. I ventured in another day and asked for a menu with a price list. Apparently they don't have one. A personal consult is needed. OK, so I did that. After being offered 3 different packages. I left to think about it. I'm still thinking, but I'm glad to know a few others are happy with the treatments. I was disappointed that my consult was with a sales woman - not a Dr. or experienced Aesthetician.
- Pros: Clean bright facility easy parking
- Cons: consultant is with a sales person - not a skin specialist

Not Convinced

I have signed up for a series of treatments at a cost of over $8300.00. Yet, I am told, as I lay my $350.00 worth of products on the counter that I have opted to purchase after my first treatment that "I do not qualify for the 10% discount on products that I would have gotten had I signed on for another "facial package of 12 instead of 6". Needless to say, this does not sit well with me. The Clinic Manager offers to sign me on for the additional facials in order for me to receive this discount. I've now had two of my 5 treatments and see little improvement on my dark sun spots which are the primary concern that led me into this new and, for me, untried clinic. I have also received 2 of my Titan treatments which, it is said, will tighten and firm my facial. I'll let you know later if my money has been well spent. As to the atmosphere. . . far from relaxing. More like a doctor's office than a spa. I would opt for the mellow lighting; gentle sound of a waterfall; ready tea and water service; and, complimentary foot massage that I receive while waiting at the other spa that I frequent for my regular maintenance necessities. I'll keep you posted!
- Pros: It's close to home.
- Cons: No walk in price list included with menu of services - Pricing of packages is confusing and left me wordering if I got as good a deal as I might have.

In Short
Royal blue walls accent plush leather chairs filled with clients waiting to see their skin care specialist. New customers receive a complementary photo analysis, which offers a detailed look at any abnormalities in pigmentation, pore size, or ultraviolet damage they may have. Then, with these results in mind, clinic treatments and at home care are personally tailored based on a customer's need, budget and schedule. Common treatments include the Calidora Custom Facial with microdermabrasion, assured to leave clients with fresh, firm skin in 60 minutes. Other treatments include laser hair removal, microcurrent facials, dermal fillers, and chemical peels.
Best botox injections on the Eastside!

Dr. Bennett was fabbbbulous and she is in REDMOND!! I was use to getting my botox in Seattle but when I saw that Calidora opened down the street from my house, I decided to give them a try. I was a little skeptical at first, but Dr. Bennett had the best bed-side manners of any doctor I've seen AND I had NO bruising. She really is great and the staff at Calidora was so professional. Thank you, thank you!!!!!
- Pros: easy to get to, friendly staff -- they know their stuff!
- Cons: none
Very accomodating. Finally quality and convienience in Redmond.

Great customer Service. A Medical Clinic with pampering. I am so happy they have come to the area! I used to travel occationally to other Calidora locations. Now they have come to me.
- Pros: Everthing about it. Staff recommendations made sense for my skin.
- Cons: First appointment time was taken. They did offer a second choice that worked for me.
