When I was in my practice we would really work on what we called "rock star" (making everyone feel that they are just as important as if they were a famous actor or rock star) or "Cheers" (a place where everyone knows your name and you are welcome) customer service. Elite has achieved this type of customer service that I think is unique and refreshing. A high intensity work out facility is probably intimidating for a lot of people. I know that I was a little intimidated and felt shy before I came in.... do I need to have the right workout clothes, wear make-up, and do I need to get into shape "before" I go there? I can honestly say that beginning with my first workout I felt like a “rock star”. Every time I come in (and I’ve noticed this with the other clients) they yell out your name and say hello. From the very beginning everyone at Elite makes the clients feel welcome, that they belong, they have your undivided attention, and that and they are SPECIAL and IMPORTANT. When I haven’t been in for awhile, I will get a nice reminder or hello email letting me know that I am missed and welcome any time. It’s not pushy, just a reminder that the team is there for me. I feel that the team sincerely cares about my fitness and well being. On a Sunday afternoon, I got an email from one of the trainers. I am impressed for several reasons and it illustrates the point I am trying to make about the special people that are a part of the team. First of all, it is nice to receive a motivational email after a good workout. What I am especially impressed with is that not only did the trainer send me an email, and sent it not between clients, but on a Sunday afternoon. This person wrote something that made me smile when I read it (shoulders back was the theme for me that day). He remembered my personal performance AND he took the time to email me. Elite has done a great job and has created an exceptional service. I will continue to sing praises.

Pros: Amazing customer service and people, great synergy between trainers and clients

Cons: no cons

Elite has awesome trainers and great energy. It is so well worth the money because it is like two self workouts in one, which makes my time so much more efficient and it is nice to have someone taking such good care of you. Every workout is different which means you never get bored and your body doesn't stagnate. It is fun working out with different trainers each time too, they are all amazing and give you different challenges. I can't recommend Elite highly enough, most of my friends and brother and sister in law work out there now too.

Pros: Great one to one service. Fabulous/high energy.

Cons: None

I've been involved in athletics and personal training for my entire life but my experience at Elite has far surpassed anything I've done in the past. Their approach is unique in that you rotate trainers but your progress is tracked by the group as a whole so you always receive the most comprehensive workout no matter who you see one day to the next. The atmosphere is incredibly supportive, motivating, and very high energy - it's just like having an entire group of friends cheering you on throughout your session. All of the trainers genuinely care about their clients and that comes across in the passion and energy they bring to the workouts. They're just a great group of people who not only want to better their clients' lives but also to help others in the community as evidenced by their recent charity event "Train the Trainer" where they raised over $20,000 for the Austin Foundation. On top of all of this, they also run a "Boot Camp" class on Sunday mornings that is an awesome workout for all ages and fitness levels - just another testament to their expertise in training. Bottom line, no matter who you are or where you’re starting from, the program at Elite will bring you life changing results.

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

I have had a very positive experience at Elite Fitness. The personal training has been very challenging, and has gotten me in better shape than I expected. Now they offer a bootcamp on Sundays which has added more rewards to my workiout. It is cardio and strength, geared for any level. I burn almost 700 calories at each session, and would recommend it to anyone at any level.

Pros: Training from many trainers, learn many techniques, and they all help you to acheive your goals.

Cons: NONE

I have joined many gyms in the past and have never actually WANTED to go to the gym until I joined Elite Fitness. I was looking for a place that could accommodate my crazy schedule and get me motivated to get in shape. Elite does all this and more. The trainers are by far the best I have ever had. They are all so knowledgeable, supportive, and most of all motivating. They really want to see you succeed and they are great "cheerleaders!". You work with a few different trainers so your workouts are always fresh and always exciting. They are very innovative with the workouts as well - I am never bored! They definitely have lots of ways to make you sweat! This is the first review I have ever written and there is so much I want to say about how great Elite has been - the facility, the locker room, the support staff - everything has exceeded my expectations. It is a great place to get in shape!

Pros: Smaller facility, personalized service

Cons: None

My husband and I are in our 70’s and exercising was not on our top ten list of things to do until we started working out with the great trainers at Elite. They make us feel really good about ourselves and encourage us to keep in good shape.

Pros: energetic and attentive trainers, monitor progress, are specific to us

Cons: can be tough on our fixed income

After my wife came back from one session with Elite Fitness after trying several other personal training programs I could tell they had something different. Most programs I have tried in the past offered the same ole routines with trainers holding clip boards. I got bored quickly with those types of programs. I needed a program that gave me cardio and strength training in one as with everyone time is an issue. Elite makes the most of 60 minutes where you walk out refreshed, feeling good and knowing that you had a great workout. I wanted a program that could "keep" me motivated and would continue to challenge me in every workout. Well, I asked for it - and I got it with Elite Fitness. I have been going now for 6 weeks and have already dropped 1 pant size and my cholestral dropped from 240 to 170 in just under 6 weeks. They don't have just 1 good personal trainer - every personal trainer there is unique and amazing. They each bring to a session their own style and expertise which allows you to get the best of all worlds and learn something new each time you go. Thanks to all the Elite training team! Oh - I highly recommend you ask for a focused session on "legs" your first time out! Its well worth it!

Pros: Unique training approach, in-shape trainers, motivating atmopshere, family atmosphere, parking, location, facilities, great customer service

Cons: None

If you are looking for a personal trainer(s) and a fitness program that makes the most of your time, money and gives you "real" results then Elite Fitness is the place for you. I tried personal trainers at ProClub in Bellevue and then Fitness Together in Redmond and both offered the traditional personal training programs (same routine everytime you came in - never break a sweat) and also required you to find a lot of extra time to fit in extra cardio outside of your sessions. The challenge I had was "time" and needed a program that could fit into my schedule, burn lots of calories, build muscle and give me the results I wanted. I needed a program that could make the most of an hour and would push me beyond my limits. If I was going to pay good money then I wanted results and for someone to push me farther than I would ever do if I trained by myself. Elite Fitness is the only personal training studio that I have ever tried that gives you all of this and more. They have a unique program/product, you don't get just one trainer you get 5 different ones. The approach keeps every session unique and challenging - its never the same and you never know what to expect. At first I thought not having the same trainer would be a bad thing - its actually the best thing - you get pushed by more than one expert in different ways. Elite not only focuses on strength training but also cardio/calorie burn. They have a "circuit" training approach so you are ensured to burn a lot of calories while also building muscle. Every trainer at Elite is very knowledable, motivating, supportive and takes the time to understand your personal goals and know just how far to push you to ensure you are always getting stronger while also being caucious to not cause injuries. I can't recommend Elite enough and its definitely worth a try - and better than anything you would get at Proclub or Fitness Together. I plan to be a customer for a very long time! Thanks Elite!

Pros: Atmosphere, Trainers, Programs, Parking, Amazing Service, Great Facilities, Good Music, Fun

Cons: None that I can think of

Wow....is really the first word that comes to mind when I think of Elite Fitness. I must say I went in a little skeptical, having never had experienced a personal trainer before and hearing some interesting PT stories, I had to see for myself. Upon walking into the door for the first time, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome a strong sense of "belonging." I set up my consultation appointment with Dave and when I came back, we spent two hours discussing my needs and what I wanted to get out of the training. I knew in the first 10 minutes I really wanted to join. My first training session was a butt kicker, and I mean that in the best way possible. The trainers are absolutely outstanding, and when they say "We put in 50% and you put in 50%" they mean it. They do everything in their power to make sure you are getting the best workout experience without pushing you beyond your own limits. Allow me to elaborate...I had injured my foot, so the trainers did everything else they could think about without putting pressure on my hurt foot. They made sure I was comfortable while making sure that I was pushing myself as well. All of the trainers that I had the pleasure of working with were fantastic in their own way and brought their own different personality....each one just as great as the next. From the moment I walked in for my appointment to the time I walked out the door. All attention and focus was on me and the task at hand.....and these guys absolutely love what they do. It shows! You do not find that too often where you can walk into a place and find that everyone there LOVES their job. What a great feeling as a customer! Unfortunately, I was only there for a month, and although it is a little pricy (for me) it was worth every single penny and I definitely plan to go back when I can! 15lbs lost later, I still feel great and to tell you the truth, as much as I miss the hardcore workouts.....I miss the staff even more! :)

Pros: Awesome staff, tucked away, great work-out program

Cons: Can be expensive for people who don't make a lot

I was in Seattle only for about 3 weeks for work on my practicum, and dropped in to see if Elite could use my small amount of time to something useful. Well, they did way more than that! Not only were the workouts the most intense I have ever had -- and I'm on an acrobat team, as well as being heavily into outdoor activities and running -- but it was the most satisfying athletic experience I have had in a long time. The trainers are fun, interested, devoted to their work and incredibly motivational. They push you beyond your limit without you ever feeling like you're not going to be able to make it. They work very well around your limitations -- I have an old injury and they were very comfortable with that -- but at the same time you definitely are pushed to excel. When you're working out there it feels like you're in a "Chicken soup for the athlete's soul" book -- everyone is cheering for you and shouting out "Way to go!" and any kind of encouragement; you really feel like you've booked a motivational team as much as a training team. I will miss them incredibly -- after only 5 workouts! -- and have every intention of stopping by for a drop-in next time I'm in Seattle. Yeah Elite!
