Best Men's clothing.
by tcmmodel206 at Citysearch
Guys, do you know how to dress yourself? Well us girls we know. That is why The Industry is a female owned fashion forward phenomenon. In this store you will find brands like Luca, Ben Sherman, Obey and William Rast Denim, just to name a few. If you are in the Fremont area stop by The Industry. So worth the visit to be able to stand out in Seattle.
- Pros: The store is rite to the point. No endless racks and stuffy sales people. Just nice charming people and great selection.
- Cons: I like to report that there are none.
Unqualified to act as elitist as they do
by rfjason at Citysearch
I'm sorry, but if I'm going to spend $200 on jeans, I think it would be nice if the staff didn't ridicule me and act dismissive when I walk in the door. If I want that kind of attitude I'll hop over to Abercrombie and ask if I can pay with cash.
The selection isn't THAT great. Even for a boutique, I was surprised at the lack of selection. In addition to some denim, I wanted to find a tie: something stylish and unique. While a few ties had a sense of style, the rest really said, "we're trying too hard," in near identical fashion as if the purchasing team bought from one designer or something. And the designer wasn't that good.
All in all, an incredibly disappointing visit.
- Pros: Supposedly for hip urbanites
- Cons: Service with attitude, questionable taste in selection
Only store I shop at in Seattle
by changn85 at Citysearch
The service at The Industry in Seattle is what makes this store one that I highly recommend. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. Not only that the story carries a large selection to choose from!
In the Fremont area there are a couple of Men's botique that offer different selection of clothes; however, this is the one store that when you enter it you are immediately at ease and willing to browse the selection!
- Pros: Amazing customer service and great selection
- Cons: none that I know of
Great gear you can't find elsewhere !!
by ek228 at Citysearch
I don't do too much shopping, but when I do go I like to buy everything at once. This place is great for me. They have all sorts of gear, hats, coats, shoes, shirts, and a whole denim bar !! I didn't know what that meant, but basically a lot of cool jeans others stores don't sell. The owners are very courteous and helpful. The prices are fair and the location is just right over the fremont bridge so its pretty convenient. Parking can be kinda tricking though, I usually park under the antique mall down the street and walk up. They even have a cool dog that hangs out in the store !!
- Pros: 1921 Jeans, orginal gear you don't see out and about.
- Cons: Parking
Love the Selection

This is a cool casual store. I appreciate the service and selection. I love buying my jeans here. Yes the parking can be a challenge but it's worth walking a couple blocks. I buy a lot of casual, steppin out stuff here and my dress clothes from www.myhaberdasher. com.

Dress up or dress down, this stylish men's shop offers a wide assortment of merchandise that will suit different styles.

In Short
Located in the heart of Fremont, this well-stocked men's boutique features various looks from hip, rock and roll, preppy, casual or business attire. Style-conscious young professionals can mosey into this mid-priced shop for Fred Perry shirts, 1921 Denim jeans, Scotch and Soda cargo shorts, Paul Frank belts, Modern Amusement sunglasses, Triple Five Soul goods, and other head-to-toe essentials. The quantity of each item is limited; if it's a good find, don't leave it behind.
Best Men's Store in Seattle!
by kirstenjewett at Citysearch
What an awesome find--hip, sophisticated and classically trendy all in one! The store has a seriously cool vibe to it, and the merchandise is easily accessible (not all crammed together like in most boutiques). You can actually shop in peace--no pushy salesman whatsoever. The men's clothing lines are unparalleled in the area: casual, well-designed, novel, modern and stylish. Definitely a store worth repeat visits!
- Pros: selection, style, price, service
- Cons: parking
Sweet store in Seattle!

The Industry is a great place to shop! The two girls (and the cute dog) who own the shop really make you feel welcomed. They treat you as a friend, and not just an average guest...and as a result, they really try to help you find what you're looking for and not push you into buying anything just to make a sale. Their jeans collection is pretty extensive with a wide selection for every type. Plus- they throw really sweet fashion shows at the beginning of the season!
New favorite clothing store

Great customer service!!! Angela, Megan, (and their dog, Charlie!) are far from your typical, stuck up boutique employees. I'm new to the boutique world of clothing (moving up from good old American Eagle & Abercrombie); They were so patient with me, deciding between a pair of jeans and a few shirts (all on sale!) - they're eager to offer their opinion and lend a hand, but not pushy AT ALL. I HIGHLY suggest you stop by The Industry before checking out the other boutiques in the area. It's tough to find (I stumbled in by chance), but well worth the search.
- Pros: Service, sales, selection
- Cons: Location (for first-timers)
Great Clothes, Friendly People!!!
by tickle21 at Citysearch
This quaint boutique is a great place to find all the hip new trends in clothing. Although they mainly sell men's clothing, there are great items for women as well. The prices are affordable and the quality of the items is phenomenal.
The staff is also a reason to stop by. They are extremely friendly. Everytime I shop there I feel like I am part of the Industry family. They are helpful and do not push you into purchasing anything.
All in all I would recommend The Industry. You will walk out of there feeling happy and looking great.
