Very disappointed. Eat Local gave me something special - the worst customer experience I have ever had. I've been an occasional Eat Local customer and the food is fine, though pricey. I liked the place pretty well until I met one of the owners on a Saturday morning. He approached me and my family and literally took my father's cell phone from his hands because he was worried about pictures being taken inside his store. His demeanor was aggressive and paranoid, and he demanded we identify ourselves. We calmly explained that we were just interested folks out for a morning walk, but he continued to ask invasive and rude questions. In the end, we walked out. I'll never return.

Great food Great space Great service!. I just made my second purchase this week! The food is really good - love the fact it is local and organic. It is super easy to prepare. The service is outstanding - the staff is extremly friendly and eager to help. They seem passionate about what they are doing - that is really great to experience!

Great Food, Great People. My Partner and I love Eat Local. Even our two year old daughter loves it! Our current favorite is a chick pea and wild rice dish that is spicy and delicious. We also love the Nikki McClure art work, and the fact that there is a community meeting room available upstairs. Everything about this place is very well done, and promotes sustainable living and a focus on community. The owner is also very friendly and personable. I highly reccommend this store.

This comfortable Queen Anne shop brings boutique quality and green values to the world of convenience food.. In Short
Combining the convenience of takeout with the soothed conscience of a trip to the farmers market, these pre-made dishes sourced from local, organic ingredients appeal to every taste. From Hemper's bacon quiche to chard laced with béchamel and gruyere to richly-sauced beef short ribs, the menu aims to please palates educated in top restaurants. Numerous vegetarian options are available, and portion size ranges from single-serving to six. A small selection of rich low-sugar desserts is included.
