Best Deal in town
by JessicaPJ
I stayed at the Belletown Inn on New Years and was very impressed! I was one of those last minute girls trying to figure out what to do and where to stay on New Years. I called on the evening of the 30th and booked a room for $107!!! I shopped around and the closest price to this was well over $200. I read some sketchy reviews but decided to go for it anyways.
The hotel is located in Belltown with really nice places in walking distance. I bar/clubed hopped a block-3 blocks away!
The hotel is nice and clean.
My boyfriend and I decided to ditch the bars and spend midnight on the roof where we had a PERFECT view of the space needle and fire works. The Belltown Inn made my New Years special and I recommend staying here!
- Pros: Great price, location, clean
- Cons: none
Great Alternative in Downtown Seattle
by BizGirl32
Best kept secret - this place is very new. Clean and attractive lobby, and our rooms were really nice too. The bed was comfortable and firm, and we had a good view of the park across the street. You can tell this place is brand new - everything is sooooo clean. : ) We stayed for about a week and liked the location and service the most. We were able to hop a cab to the convention center and on nice days, we walked. The staff at this place are really wonderful. They recommended some great restaurants and bars in the area, all of them in walking distance. All in all it was a very nice business trip, and my company saved a lot of money on the accomodations here.
- Pros: Price, Location, Service
Awesome Value in Downtown Seattle - FINALLY!!!
by TravelingBabette
We saved a TON of money with this hotel located in downtown Seattle on the edge of Belltown!!! We were able to walk EVERYWHERE - pretty much everything is within a few blocks including Nordstroms, Macys, theatres, and great shopping. Their front desk team (awesome) recommended all kinds of ecletic, fabulous cafes, restaurants and shops to visit, and we even walked down to the bay and did the touristy thing. The studios are cozy and very clean (looks like brand new), but I must say they are a tad bit smaller than, say, the Hilton or Sheraton rooms we usually stay in. Sure wish we would have known about this place last year during "festival" season - they are also in close walking distance to the Seattle Center. If you are looking to save some money in your hotel accommodations and spend it playing, this is the place - we highly recommend it!!
- Pros: Awesome Service and Downtown Location
- Cons: Spendy Parking (although no need for a car!!)
Bad location, decent rooms, great customer service
by Tokyotripper
The folks who work at the Belltown Inn were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was quite small and if staying a while (I stayed just a week), would get very cramped. I overheard a few tenants complain about the heat of the rooms (I stayed there in the summer and there was very little air because of lack of cross ventilation). The room was clean and nicely decorated.
The biggest drawback about staying at the Belltown Inn was the location. Although the Belltown area is improving, the location of the inn leaves a lot to be desired. It's located right across the street from a park (Regrade Park) which is home to a high number of homeless, mentally unstable folk and illicit substance users and dealers. I always felt that I had to be in my room before dark and my friends and family were hesitant about coming to pick me up, parking their cars in the area and meeting me in the direct vicinity.
- Pros: Great customer service
- Cons: Dangerous location, small rooms
