They fixed my initial problem quickly and were very helpful with a followup issue. Very friendly people too. I would definitely use them again.

I drove my laptop to Progressive at my lunch hour. Before I made it back to my office they had called with a diagnosis and within 24 hours it was fixed and ready for pick up. My computer needed an exorcism and these guys de-Linda Blaired it quickly and with little carnage. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!!

My Windows based PC had a mass amount of infections that caused a mass amount of headaches and stress. These dudes fixed it fast ( less than a day) and clean. They were very respectful to me and took time to explain what they were going to do and why they needed to do what they did. I am telling all my friends and family about the teatment I received and how amazing they were. Thanks to all at Progressive tech!
Pros: Respectful, clean and efficient.
Cons: Parking iffy during peak hours

We were so lucky to find Progressive Tech. Recently our laptop died and 20 years of my boyfriend's precious artwork seemed all but lost. Rich told us the hard drive had failed but he was able to retrieve everything and replace the hard drive. We are so greatful for the fast service and for being kept informed throughout the process. It was a happy day when Martin called to say the data recovery was 100% successful!! Being able to choose the hourly rate you want to pay depending on how fast you need your computer fixed is a great idea! We will definitely be back next time we have computer issues!!
Pros: Variable hourly rates, friendly professional service
Cons: Not in our neighborhood, but very much worth the drive

I had DELL desktop that would shut down during boot up. I took it to Progressive Tech for a consult to see if it could be resurrected. They found out that the motherboard was fried. I did not have a budget for new desktop. Progressive Tech offered to find me another DELL desktop and install my hard drive on this replacement DELL. For under 200 dollars, Progressive Tech gave me a computer almost identical to my old one, with my current hard drive, so that I do not have to configure or install any programs. They also gave me a great deal to install extra memory in this computer. These guys are helpful, professional and know what they are doing. They provided a great costumer experience and I am very impressed with their service. I would recommend this outfit to any person looking to fix/troubleshoot an existing windows machine!!

I had a hard drive failure, and after reading reviews for local and Seattle-based computer repair, I decided to go with Progressive Tech. I'm so glad I did! Very fast service and very friendly, and offered a great rate. Although I'm a little farther away (Tacoma-area) it was definitely worth the drive for the great service, compared to the other businesses that received mediocre/poor reviews! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I didn't find Progressive Tech (Rich) until I had already paid another local laptop repair shop to "diagnose" my keyboard problem and tell me I would need to pay hundreds to perform repairs that didn't even need to be done (verified by photos taken of the inside of my laptop). Not only was the other shop planning to replace parts that didn't need to be replaced, but they were going to charge me substantially more for the parts than if I had bought the same quality myself at Best Buy. Rich objectively and accurately diagnosed my problem, provided personal service (including pick up and delivery of my laptop) and performed timely repairs with no hidden charges or extra fees. In fact, he went out of his way to find the least expensive source for replacement parts and always consulted with me prior to proceeding. I found the service reliable, trustworthy and reasonable. Progressive Tech is where you need to go if you seek neutral, honest and effective computer repair.

Nice doing business face-to-face with the person who provides such a great service. Rich picked up my computer from my home after telling me over the phone what it would cost to get my computer rolling again. He spelled out clearly for me what the possible causes of my computer crashing were and what it would cost to remedy each of those problems. I appreciated that he was not offended or pushy when I told him that I might have a friend do the dirty work of reinstalling Windows, if necessary, after Rich diagnosed the problem, so I could save money. Rich's work, while less expensive than some other similar businesses, is not free and the hours can add up. My only complaint is that Rich did not always call me back when he said he would when he had my computer and was diagnosing the problem. But he did find and fix the computer in a very short time. Through it all, I always felt that he was being fair, honest and knowledgeable. Now you can't say that about all the other computer repair services out there!
Pros: Nice guy. Knows what he's doing. Not pushy
Cons: Not the most punctual at calling me back

Rich was a great help in solving my wireless connection issue. I had given up on getting my laptop connected but he was able to finally diagnose that I had a bad internal wireless card. Instead of having to go to the store to buy a new one, he generously offered me the one he was using for testing at a discount so I was completely hooked up before he left. In addition, he removed things I didn't need and suggested changes to improve the performance on my laptop. Lastly I have to mention he was on time and polite the entire time he was here. I will absolutely continue using his service in the future!

My mom is 72 years and uses the computer to play cards and games because she has really bad arthritis in her hands and can't hold a deck of cards. When her computer stopped working the local store told her it would cost $400 to fix. I was skeptical about what they were saying, and decided to shop around. I found progressive tech online here at citysearch. They came out to look at it and found that the problem was not with the computer at all, it was just a bad wire in the power cable, which they were able to fix the same day. My mom has been happily playing cards again and they gave her a senior discount, so it only cost $50, not $400 which made her very happy since she is on a fixed income. You've got to call these guys if you have any problems, they are very honest and give the customer great service.
