User Reviews for Phinney Ridge Eyecare

Phinney Ridge Eyecare gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I've ever received. I went for both contact lenses and glasses, and am delighted with both. These are meticulous people who show genuine care and courtesy while possessing up-to-the-cutting-edge knowledge. A great selection of frames.

My husband I have patronized Phinney Ridge Eyecare since they opened and we are both huge fans. The frames are way stylish, the standard of care is extremely good, and the service is above and beyond. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming; the office is clean, attractive, comfortable and pleasant. Drs. Woo and Rosales make a great team and their darling boy, Leo, is a welcome addition.

Pros: Exceptionally high quality of care, super atmosphere.

I've gotten several pairs of glasses here now and have always been more than satisfied with the experience. Dr. Rosales's exams are thorough--all the various tests you would expect. The selection of frames is excellent; in fact, I have a hard time selecting a pair because there are so many. You could go somewhere else and be left on your own to pick your frames, but I like coming here because they give you their honest opinions on what looks good. Prices are fair; again you could go someplace else and maybe get a cheaper pair, but since glasses are something I wear every day, this is one place I am willing to spend a few extra $$. They're always friendly and interested in what I've been doing. I even took my 80-year old father there for a fashion upgrade and he loves his new glasses.

Pros: Friendly, good selection

Cons: Not open Sundays

Two very bright, friendly, outgoing doctors, one kid named Leo (he's the shortest of the three). Only element missing here is the friendly puppy dog or the contented cat! Both doctors are exceptionally perceptive, medically and scientifically knowledgeable. They provide thorough information regarding insurance, offer a very wide-range of products, and stand behind their work. Incredibly, they also have figured out how to manage both a family life and a professional life at the same time! AND, you won't have to reintroduce yourself to new medical providers every time you need an eye exam. If you are unable to fathom the karma here, it is your loss.

Pros: Good medicine here, real people, honest and truly friendly.

Cons: They moved from the area where I first met them to PHinney Ridge, but that's okay. They are worth the drive!

I visited this doctor based on the positive reviews on City Search, but was extremely dissapointed. My experience: - Extremely disorganized office: Boxes and boxes of paperwork in the doctors office, boxes of contact lenses and supplies in the hallways, and a reception desk with paperwork completely scattered. It's beyond me how these people get anything done. - The office itself smelled like bad breath - The doctor gave me the wrong size contacts - They bring their kid to work so you have to listen to crying and all the other noises that kids make -

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Disorganized, smelly, and apparently a daycare facility

To our patients, customers, and friends - We strive to be professional and hate to make a bad impression! We've done some spring cleaning - but Leo the kid stays every other Saturday :) !!! We are always singleton, family, kid, and dog friendly here on Phinney Ridge. Cheers - Drs. Woo and Rosales

This is a great place to go when you need to see an eye doctor or get new glasses and/or contacts. They are very friendly and have a little area for the kiddos to play. They definitely make you and your children feel welcome. They have great selections of glasses. So any I had a very hard time choosing which ones I wanted. They were awesome with my children. I am so glad we have found our eye care provider!!!

Pros: Friendly and great service. A great selection of glasses. Easy to get in for an appt.

Cons: A little chatty, so don't over schedule yourself because you may be late for next appt.

This is a family-run small business with excellent personal service. They have toys for children that come in and are very good with kids in general. Their frames are cool and reasonable. I'm really impressed. I've gone to various different places over the years and gotten bad prescriptions, paid too much for glasses, etc.
