Perfect Flowers, Perfect Delivery
by Leona F at Citysearch
The items I ordered were delivered this morning, just 2 hours after I had ordered them. Again, everything was perfect, from the flowers to the vase, to the card, ballon and chocolates. Seattle Flowers attention to detail, carefully arranged bouquet and all the other items were a smash hit with my mother, and with her fellow female colleagues, too; she was the envy of the office!
- Pros: Best Seattle Florist for Delivery
- Cons: None

NOT worth one Star=Terrible/Rude - DID NOT HONOR SALE PRICE
by VDC at Citysearch
I visited this shop "Seattle Flowers" today around 12:45pm.
I had just finished a team lunch with my co-workers and your festivly decorated store called out to us from the street.
As soon as we entered, the "Ooohs" & "Ahhhs" fell from our lips as we happily discovered all the beautiful wonders on display.
Myself and a co-worker found our way to the middle when I spotted a Gorgeous little red, beaded, handbag. It was of course out of my price range.............But, I was so excited when I looked inside the bag - there was a printed sign that the bag "All Handbags" was 50% off!! I immediately took it to the employee nearest me and asked her to ring me up.
I handed her the sign to make sure the discount was taken and while she was ringing me up, another employee behind the counter (Kathy) said that the bag was not on sale. Kathy further told the woman helping me that it was an old promotion and was not good anymore. All this happend without even a look towards me or a word directed at me to tell me what was going
on. I finally asked what the issue was. Kathy, finally looked at me proceeded to fold up the sign and threw it away as she abrubtly told me that the purse was not on sale and again turned away from me. I turned to the woman who was helping me and calmly explained that while I was sorry about their error.......the sale sign was clearly inside the purse and that they should
honor the price. Kathy was on the phone by this time, however she interjected to tell me (again very abrubtly) that they were a small business and she did not have to honor the sale price of the purse. She continued that the signs were from a previous sale and that they were never tucked inside the purses. I answered her that clearly they were because that's where I found this
one. She then said very smugly that she could jack the price up again and then take the 50% off "if that would make me feel better."
I could not believe how rude Kathy was being and in amazement I was going to concede the conversation there but felt I needed to report her behavior so I asked her name and took one of the business cards available at the counter, before turning and immediately leaving the store.
- Pros: Cute shop
- Cons: Rude Service & DID NOT HONOR SALE PRICE
Response from this business

We avoid hiding sale signs inside our product, preferring to place them where they are clearly visible. When offered an apologetic explanation the customer immediately became belligerent, demanding a legal right to the handbag. The handbag was originally $89.95. She apparently expected a price of $29.95. Its unfortunate but what often seems too good to be true usually is. Her rush to publicly denounce this company and her implication that I should buy her goodwill tells me that a resolution was never on her agenda. I have no tolerance for demanding people who want something for nothing and I will not allow my sales people to be subjected to inappropriate behavior. If this person believes that we went out of our way to lure her into our store and then intentionally try to deceive her by hiding a sale sign inside one of our handbags, that is obviously untrue. I have always been committed to providing reasonable accommodation to our customers. I remain so.
the BEST Seattle Flower Shop!
by fdizzlefoshizzle at Citysearch
Seattle Flowers is one of the coolest floral shops in Seattle! They don't JUST do flowers, thought: Bill and Cathy travel the world and bring back treasures from all over to share with the public (and of course sell).
In my office we have a wagon wheel from Burma (well, the area FORMALLY known as Burma). it's awesome -they had a display stand built for it and well you just have to see it to understand where i'm going with this, but take my word for it: it's really cool.
Anyway, we've used Seattle Flowers and their easy, online ordering website for all sorts of occasions, from Mother's Day to Valentine's Day to random acts of flowers to keep the office fresh and clean. Did you know there was a recent study that proved having fresh flowers in a workplace improved both efficiency and creativity? that's been proven in our office.
I love ordering from Seattle Flowers -their website is very clean, easy to navigate and sorts flowers by category...what could be easier? Plus they deliver all over the place, from Downtown Seattle to Capital Hill to Ballard to Queen Anne -if it's in Seattle they'll deliver it (and probably outside of Seattle but you'll have to ask them).
Also, they don't do just the standard FTD and TeleFlora packages, they design floral arrangements from scratch. If you're looking for flower delivery in or around Seattle call Seattle Flowers first!!!

- Pros: Floral Delivery all OVER the Seattle Area (Downtown Seattle, Ballard, Capital Hill, Pioneer Square, Queen Anne)
