Does anyone know where nihad is ? I have been a client of Nihad for over 4 years.... I have lost him... please email me at sapheeninseattle@yahoo dot com thank you so much , I am sorry I don't mean to make this a blog but I am so sad I called asante and they did not give me his cell ???? thank you.... Asante is a great salon but I miss my nihad !

I am a transplant to the area and didn't know where to go for a decent haircut, which I desperately needed. Based upon the recommendations on Citysearch, I called and made an appointment to see Liza. She was nice enough to work me in for an evening appointment, but when I got there I ended up waiting about 40 minutes past my scheduled time. When she cut my hair, she dominated the conversation and really paid more attention to what she was going to say next than to what I really wanted in a haircut. She was very quick and it looked ok when she was done, but I never really like how stylists style my hair so I have to wait until I've done it to decide if it's a good cut. As it turns out, she gave me one of the most blah haircuts I've ever had and it just kept looking more and more blah as it started to grow out a little. I've been told by previous stylists that people with my faceshape can pull off any hairstyle, so it shouldn't have been that hard to make me look good. I went to visit my mom about a month later and got my hair done at the salon I used to frequent. Not only was my haircut by Liza boring, but it was uneven in the back!!! I couldn't tell because I don't spend much time looking at the back of my head. I got a fantastic cut and I will never go back to Asante. I could have gotten the same result at Super Cuts for a lot less money. Liza is nice, but she needs to chill out and spend a little more time finding out what a client wants.

Pros: Nice atmosphere

If you love Aveda products then you will love Asante and it's staff! You will get your complimentary hand ,shoulder, or scalp massage each visit and will be guarenteed to learn the products the stylists use on your hair. I recommend this salon to clients who enjoy a calming and relaxing environment. There is always a candle burning and delicious smells of tea or Aveda products. One reason I keep coming back is that the stylists are personable and friendly. Also depending on my mood, the stylist gives me the style that fits and color that not only lasts but also is trendy and fashionable. I am pleased to say that this salon is not the gossiping type! I hate those salons that you can over hear a stylist and client from 5 chairs over...be assured that you can feel comfortable and open with your stylist!

Pros: friendly and experienced stylists, great decor and relaxing enviornment, lots of parking

I have gone to Asante Salon for almost a year now. Every time I go there, I am greeted by very friendly staff who offer me tea, coffee or water, and genuinely care about my comfort. I get color and haircuts and have gone to a few of the stylists, since my schedule doesn't permit me to pre-book. They all gave me a great color and cut. I recommended Asante to a few friends, and they now go there as well and are very happy with it. I was puzzled about the negative postings that mention that no one smiles and they are not friendly - I have never found this to be true. The customer service has always been great.

Pros: None

Cons: Friendly, down to earth, courteous salon with good service

This was not a very friendly salon. Not bad service but would not tell my friends to go. I wish I had saved my money.

Pros: lots of parking

I went to salon Asante recommended by a friend who for many years had problems finding a good hairdresser. I saw her the day after she went to have her hair done by a very experience hair designer she met at Asante, she was speechless of how incredibly talented this artist was not to mention how kind she found he was in the way he treats everybody. So i decided i want to know what this was all about and made an appointment with Fernando. My husband never makes any comment when i return from the hair salon, well that afternoon, after my visit to Fernando at Asante, my husband said i have not looked so pretty since the day we got married. Yes i highly recommend, if you want to have a great experience hair wise, to stop at Salon Asante and let them treat you whether for a simple trim or a total makeover, i am sure you will have a great time with all of them. This is a salon that delivers personalized service in a calm and relaxing environment. I have been a client of Liza's for almost two years and have consistently received cuts and color that fit my lifestyle and personality. I initially went to Liza because I am a huge fan of Aveda products and was interested in their hair color. It's fabulous! My hair looks and feels healthy, and I frequently receive compliments on the natural-looking custom color. Plus, I feel good about supporting a company that is environmentally conscious. Asante is a great choice all around!

I was recommended to Asante by a friend several months ago, and I would highly recommend to my friends and family. I've been to the salon several times and always been extremely satisfied with the service I received. The staff is friendly and knowlegeable, there is plenty of ample parking, it's easy to find and the prices are just right. Thanks Asante.

I would highly recommend Asante Salon. I had got a brutal cut a different salon (no names, please). I went to Asante to see if they could do anything to fix it. Not only did they fix it, but it turned out to be the best cut I have ever recieved! I decided right then and there in the future there is no need to ever go anywhere else!! The staff was professional and friendly, a rare combination these days. Plus, the stylist listened to my tale of a bad hair cut, asked me what I was looking for and just did it. I was so pleased.

I have been a client of Liza's for about 2 years now, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else for my cut and color. I'm very picky as to wanting a "natural" looking color, and Liza always delivers.

Pros: Easy parking, convenient location.
