Shotty customer service and even worse services. Painful waxing and rubbing cream all over my face does NOT constitute a facial! DON'T GO!

I went in for a facial at The Wax Bar and I can't stop thinking about it! It was the best experience and so relaxing. The appointment began with the technician asking me about any skin problems I wanted to address and she answered all of my questions and concerns with thorough responses and was extremely friendly and so easy to talk to. In between the various treatments she gave me the most wonderful massage on my face, neck, arms and shoulders that made me forget I had to go back to work! My skin was glowing in a way I've never seen it before and it still feels transformed. I felt like I looked ten years younger and haven't had some of the issues we talked about since. I can't say enough good things about it and I wish I could go in every day. I highly, highly, highly recommend The Wax Bar!!!

The bad reviews are obviously fake. The users all have only 1 post to their credit and they were all posted within the same time frame. Sounds like some disgruntled 20-something who wants to "get even" or a competitor. Idiots. I've been to the Wax Bar 2 or 3 times and really recommend it. The prices are reasonable and I've been happy with my brow waxes. Much cheaper and faster than Habitude but with the same lux environment and level of quality. I also take note when local businesses donate goods & services to school auctions and other charitable events, which the Wax Bar cheerfully and enthusiastically has done. 2 thumbs up!

Pros: Location, skilled technicians, cocktails!

Cons: Parking, slight pressure to buy products with facials

Highly reccommend clean, great service I will send all my clients to the wax bar. I have been to alot of salons, wax bar is very professional and great customer service.

let's start with the pros: nice location, definitely a fan of the pre-wax drinking. not too hard to get in either. now let's really rip into it: isn't the point of getting waxed to REMOVE ALL HAIR from the area? after a less than pleasant bikini I was left a sticky mess with leftover wax AND having to go home and tweeze. definitely skip it.

To all the users writing BAD reviews.....GET A LIFE...or at least stop hiding behind fake screen names..... This is the BEST waxing joint in town. Having worked in the salon industry myself for over 12 years I can honestly say that every experiance that I have had at the Wax Bar has been nothing but 5 star!! Karen, Mac and the rest of the crew have always made every effort to get me in and out on time and with a great wax accompanied by a warm environment and an amazining experiance. I have never had a complaint. Seattle has needed a place like this forever and you haters out there are just mad your not part of it. If you have not tried the Wax Bar... What are you waiting for.????.. Undoubtably my favorite salon in the city.. Keep op the amazing work guys!

not happy with the outcome of my waxing. not a place I'd reccommend at all. the place seemed cool enough I mean, they serve beer, but that doesnt make up for crappy waxing.

A number of our clients have alerted us to the bogus reviews being left here. The site administrator has been alerted about the negative reviews we have been getting for the last month. They are investigating the matter. To our friends and clients, thanks for your calls of concern. Unfortunately this is the price we pay for running a successful business. The anonymous and libelous reviews are some local "family-owned businesses" strategy to compete. As a family-owned business ourselves, we have chosen to take the high road.

The Wax Bar is the only place I will get waxed. I have been a client of Karen's for years, and I will be as long as she is in the business. She is friendly, professional and fast. No one else touches my eyebrows (or lip, or underarms, or bikini area, etc.)! The atmosphere is nice and calm--very soothing. I highly recommend trying the Wax Bar out.

I'm friends with lollygee (the review below) and felt inclined to review after seeing how badly her poor eyebrows were treated!! They really are two different eyebrows now! I wrote this review not just to complain, but to deter anyone else from the same experience! DON'T GO!
