Casual Spanish food , best sangria ever
5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

My SO and I have gone a few times and we have had a great experience each visit The menu itself is average size for a tapas place- 3-4 cold tapas, 7-8 warm tapas, and 4-5 main dishes in addition to the Paellas, of which they have 4 different types. The generally have 4-5 specials of various types. Prices are in the $10-25 range, and the paellas run $30+ for 2 people. The food ranges from old standards like "Papas Bravas" and "Garlic shrimp" to more innovative fare. However, the quality is very high and very tasty. The bravas sauce in particular is spicy and creamy and is wonderful on potatoes or bambas (meatballs). Juan (the head chef) does wonderful things with meat and spectacular things with salt-cod. My SO loves the Fiduea (sp), a seafood paella made with noodles instead of rice. My only complaint is that the food can be a little salty sometimes. I do not eat deserts, but the SO loves the Quince tart and the egg custards. The wine list is all Spanish and goes well beyond Rioja. They have several nice Spanish whites in addition to the more commonly known reds and cava. They will often let you sample the wines until you pick one out. I would recommend the Sangria- Jo( the owner) makes THE BEST sangria I have ever had, end of story. The service is friendly and reasonably knowledgeable about the food. The service is directly correlated to how busy it is. The kitchen is a 1-2 person operations and it can be a little slow when it is really busy, but that does not bother us too much. In summary, I like this restaurant. It is not as high end or elegant as the Harvest Vine, but it is not trying to be . It is a nice , friendly place to eat tapas and relax. I can't recommend it enough.
