January 2008 - Needed a repair on my KEF powered subwoofer (PSW2000) and brought it in for Zach and his team to to take a look at. Zach took care of the problem and I was able to pick up my speaker within the time promised and the price was as quoted. No surprises, just honest professional service. I would recommend to friends and would go to AVL Professional again. I really appreciated the follow up call from Zach checking back with me on how the speaker was working!

I have a vintage tube amp (my all time favorite piece of gear) that had been giving me trouble for the past month and was desperate to get it fixed. After an hour of calling around, I found that no other shop would even look at the unit. Bummed and frustrated, I was beginning to think it was destined to become an overpriced paperweight, when an old friend of mine let me in on the guys he's been using for the past 6 months and told me to give them a call. I'm glad I did. I called and talked to the technician there (I think his name is Zak) and he said he'd take a look and see what he could do. I dropped it off last Wednesday and was told that he'd back to me within their guaranteed two week turnaround time. Much to my surprise/delight, I got a call on Friday, only two days later, and was told the amp was ready to be picked up! When I got there, they not only fixed it but also cleaned it to make it look beautiful again! I'm SOLD on these guys!
Pros: Great service, fast turnaround, friendly staff, and good parking.
Cons: None.
