Great consignment store.

by Ursusmom at Citysearch

I think Armadillo is both great for shopping and consignment. They have a constantly changing variety of items such as furniture, art, clothes, shoes, jewelry, home and garden items. I have taken in some things for consignment and I am always well recieved by Wayne and his employees. They are very friendly and most helpful. Another thing I like is that Armadillo is so easy to find and there is plenty of free parking.

  • Pros: Easy to find, free parking and great variety.
  • Cons: Closed Mondays.

Best Seattle Home Interiors Consignment

by ecokind at Citysearch

I am a green interior decorator and most recently sourced Armadillo for my Redmond client, thinkspace. I have nothing but great things to say about Wayne, his store and his employees.

The store is clean with quality, fairly priced home and office interior items, set up in nicely suggestive combinations.

There space is large enough to accommodate a variety yet small enough that I can get Wayne's attention from the other side if I have questions.

When something I needed wasn't there, Wayne put my desired item on his wish list to keep an eye open. Not 3 hours later, there was an email from his stating that those items had just come in!

Top notch customer service, quality merchandise at reasonable prices in a decent storefront that is clean and well-organized. You can't beat that.

I am definitely looking forward to sourcing Armadillo for future projects!

  • Pros: parking lot, direct route off highways, nice set up, clean, stellar customer service, great selection

Great for Buying or Selling

by DinaK at Citysearch

I've shopped and sold at other consignment shops, and I think Armadillo is tops. Wayne, the owner, is fair with his pricing -- whether you're a buyer or a seller. There is always a great assortment of mechandise to puruse (I've never left empty handed)!

  • Pros: Atmosphere, Selection of Merchandise
  • Cons: can't think of any

Fantastic Consignment Shop!

by Cherrytea at Citysearch

I stumbled upon Armadillo Consignments after my seasonly closet cleaning. I wanted to find a local place where I could recycle my clothes & maybe find some new ones. Much to my surprise & happiness, Armadillo turned out to have a really great selection of good looking, modern plus sized clothes. I left the store with an ultra cute pair of pants that I absolutely love & it is really refreshing to know that I can go to a consignment store that has my size! They have sections for each size range, which is great & makes finding what your'e looking for easy. I definitely recommend checking out this unique shop.

  • Pros: Very Interesting & Unique Things

REALLY nice furniture, more than you would expect from Consignment

by lap513 at Citysearch

I often make the mistake of thinking that Consignment and thrift are TOO closely related. I found this amazing cabinet here for $100, and was told it started its journey at $1000. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and when I got it home I discovered that the lighted portion work by tapping the metal doors. It is hands down the best furniture purchase I have ever made. The staff was so helpful there while I stood there and decided and also when it came time to load that into my truck. This spot is definitely now in my rotation of places to always check for great deals on unique pieces! They also have clothing, home furnishing, decor, and more to look through

  • Pros: if your brave you can wait and watch the prices go down
