I would definatly recommend this Italian restraunt to all of my friends. There Chicken Marsala is amazing and they have great pizza too. There Chicken Armondo is a personal favorite. All comes with a salad or soup and there waitress' are friendly and fast! If you are lucky Armondo himself will come visit you at your table! Great place and great prices!
Great Family Owned Restaurant
by megamead at Citysearch
Armondo's uses only the freshest and best ingredients, and the quality of their food shows it. This is local family run restaurant with great food and great service. The bar has an awesome happy hour, make sure to ask for the menu! And the best part for Sounders fans is flat screen TV's showing the games!
- Pros: Great Happy Hour, Great Food, Great Service
- Cons: Hard to find

Best Italian in Renton
by tulalynn at Citysearch
We went to dinner recently at Armondo's and had a wonderful evening. Our server Dana was pleasant, informative and very prompt with her service. They gave us bread with olive oil & balsomic to start with, what a nice touch. The server suggested their calamari, how wonderful it was, it was a steak instead of rings. It came with 3 sauces that went great with it. I had the eggplant, my husband had the lamb shank. Both dishes we mouth watering. The lamb was so tender it just fell off of the bone served with a wonderful flavoral sauce and yukon potaoes. For dessert we had tiramisu, which was made there at the restaurnat and you could tell, it was so fresh and tastey. We both would highly recommend this restaurant. We dine out alot and found everthing to be of high quality from the olive oil to the lamb shank including the staff. Even the manager (sherrie) stopped by the table to see how our evening was.
- Pros: Ambience, service and food
- Cons: parking
They just plain miss,,,
by dimination at Citysearch
From the bogus salads, to the pile of slop lasagna, (with what may have been cheddar cheese on top?) to the tomato sauce that has canned mushrooms and bell peppers in it, to the snooty service, to the classless dining room, they just miss. I for some reason, have been there 3 times for nothing more than the lack of anywhere else to go in Renton,, but this was the last time for sure. Reminds me of olive garden. I'm saddened to read the good reviews because I guess my neighbors in Renton just don't know what good Italian food is, or more importantly,, means. The cheap pomace garbage olive oil they gave me to dip my bread in was simply an insult and our server told us they had just switched to "cheaper, lower quality oil" because of high food cost? What? Come on Armondo, where's the love bro?
- Pros: close to my house
- Cons: not good food,, sorry,
Best Italian restaurant in Renton, excellent and ample food, moderate prices
by mddevine at Citysearch
The restaurant has long held the title of best Italian restaurant in Renton, and it is no wonder. The food is excellent and is provided in such quantity that customers frequently ask for a doggie box to take the remainder of dinner home with them. Prices are also noticably moderate. This place is worthy of repeat visits.
- Pros: Food quality and quantity, moderate prices
- Cons: Customer talking can be a bit loud when restaurant is full
Yummy food, great atmosphere

We went Armondos, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend the Chicken Armondo. It is to die for. Also the wait staff was nice and helpful. The drinks were well made. It is a lovely little surprise in Renton!!
Even good takeout
by haagendoggy at Citysearch
I went with my co-workers a while back and thought the food was great! The chicken was tender, the pasta wasn't overcooked, and even the salad was tasty (great dressing, too). I even ordered the salmon to take home to my husband and HE thought it was great...and he's picky when it comes to seafood. The previous reviewer obviously did not read their menu, though. Caesar salads MAY be substituted, but it DOES state on the menu that there is an additional charge. My solution? If in doubt, ask.
- Pros: Decent service, good food
- Cons: Parking
What Service!!! Don't get the salad!!! There's hidden fees
by yvettie70 at Citysearch
The Service was slow. I ordered the lunch special and was asked which I would rather have Soup or salad and I said What the choices are and they told me all the choices. So I picked Ceasar and they charged me extra at the end. I complained about it and they would not take it off my bill. Soup or Salad comes with the lunch !!! I think they forgot their own menu. I will never return there
Reliable Family Italian Food in Renton
by kennydaleguy at Citysearch
Armondo's is the Renton hangout. Very good Italian food - better than Olive Garden and below Il Terrazo. Reliable. Service is good but not great. Try the pizzas.
- Pros: Reliable Italian food at reasonable prices
- Cons: Spotty service.
Customer service with a twist
by waldog at Citysearch
Ate there for the first time and wasn't impressed with the customer service or meal.
The wait staff was friendly but our main waitress never returned to the table once the main course was served. The meal was OK at best but overpriced for what we were served. When did spaghetti and meatballs start costing $15?
