This Belltown gastropub offers an imaginative menu of small plates and designer cocktails in the glow of old Western movies and rustic hardwood.

In Short
Here's something you don't see everyday: A gastropub for cowboys. Chefs Dana Tough and Brian McCracken are taking risks in Beltown by serving small plates of classic dishes with trendy touches, which means there's pork belly sliders next to tagliatelle with parmesan foam on the seasonally informed menu. The cocktails themselves follow the theme with a bevy of whiskey and bourbon concoctions on the drink menu--some sweet, all of them stiff. The slim restaurant exudes rustic kitsch with its tall hardwood tables and stands out amidst the rest of the neighborhood's high-volume gloss. The crowd runs the gamut from well-heeled Belltown folk to foodie hipsters venturing down from Capitol Hill.
Great food, unique flavors, mediocre service.

What a fun place!
The food, although sometimes weird sounding, was ALL delicious.
My entire group thought it was excellent.
Only complaint is that they served the food seperately... some people got their food before others... even when everything was ordered at the exact same time and the place wasn't swamped so there was no excuse for it.
- Pros: Great food.
- Cons: Service.
Can't go back

Went with a group of four friends. We always split the bill (as most small groups of friends do) and most places don't have a problem with it. When we asked, the waitress turned cold and told us "they don't do that" We insisted and they relented. I emailed the owner my concerns and NEVER received a reply. They don't care about us, I don't care about going back. If you're looking for decent food and a pretentious staff, be my guest...but there are much better places for friends to hang out.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: slow services, pretentious wait staff
Very good experience

We very much enjoyed our experience at Spur. The cocktail list is intersting and perfectly made. Loved the drink with Elderflower, also their variation on the Pimms Cup. The pork belly slliders were outstanding as well as the Bison Burger, Beet Salad and those addicting homemade corn nuts. Oh my god! Small plates were presented very nicely. Dark, Cool Tunes and Urban vibe.
Excellent FOOD--the FLAVORS were scrumptious

This is a gem--a fabulous, hip, non-pretentious, stylin' dining spot in Belltown. The food was fresh beyond imagination. The SALMON crostini was melt in your mouth delicious, presented beautifully and the small plate portion was not disappointing. The BUTTERFISH... how to even start-- think Butta (in the fashion of the Sopranos) so delicate but also earthy with the magical combination of english peas done just right & morel mushrooms, my mouth is watering just recalling the elegance of this superb dish. I have to mention--you must start with a Hanky Panky, the kind served up in a martini glass-- dreamy mixology. Now back to the food, if you like mussels, oh my, I had some good ones-- they were big & meaty, cooked to perfection in a delicious sauce which my mate & I shamelessly lapped up every last drop. Sorry no room for dessert but the experience was tremendous. Love the ambience with the overhead black & white picture show & the many windows framing our lovely city. And I would be remiss if I did not call out the outstanding service. Excellent. Thanks Spur & See you next time!!!
