Swank & stylish with farm to table food offerings. Great for lunch or Pre show dinner.

so-so. Stayed at the Hilton above Urbane, so stopped in at happy hour. Mac & cheese was okay (mine is better) but was in DIRE need of salt. Chicken wings were mediocre, can't remember the third thing we had, that's how forgettable the food is. Draft beer was only $4 during HH though!

One waitress seemed distracted or disinterested in customers, but a second waitress was very good.

Comfort food at its finest. If you're looking for local ingredients and a take on the food you remember from childhood, check out Urbane. I tried the grilled cheese (with Beecher's, natch) and tomato soup combo for my recent lunch visit and left with a full belly and fond memories of childhood rainy days. Perfect for our recent bout of spring drizzle in Seattle. The menu, though not fast at lunch, included a little bit of everything to meet the appetite needs of my co-workers.

The location makes this a great pre-show stop (near the Paramount and Pacific Place). Since there is no street parking, try parking at Pacific Place and walk over.

Great Food at a Great Price!. Only downtown Seattle restaurant I've eaten at this year that I have gone back to over and over again. Consistent quality food and service! No snootiness I've come to expect from urban restaurants.

great place for happy hour. we wondered around town and found this place by chance. didn't want to rely on our iphone to pick a place. it looks great on the outside as does the inside. we ended our night with four delectable drinks from this sophisticated bar.

try:

strawberry peppa (quite strong) 8

rainy day (has gin and vermouth, peach schnapps, my fav) 10

hot apple cider with rum 6

a manhattan (can't go wrong) 6

my bill total was $33 (tax included)

nice staff, good ambience. it does get packed after 10pm and the noise level is above 80dB, you kinda have to shout over the noise at peak time.

overall, great place for drinks in downtown seattle. will have to try their mac'n cheese and other food items on their menu next time.

Modern Northwest Spot. This place opened up in the Hyatt Olive 8 recently, and I have to say that I was most impressed with the design. Very chic and modern, but not cold. The food was excellent, a nice mix of Northwest and California cuisine. The concept is farm to table, so they seem to be working hard on that (but always hard to know exactly). All in all a very nice meal in a great spot downtown.
