there is something to say about service. richies does not have wonderful service. but the quality of the furniture i got out weighs the bad stuff . I have been everywhere ,and i can't tell you the junk that is out there. i bought sofas and bureaus at richies and so got my moneys worth. I did'nt wait forever i did wait a couple a weeks . i would go again ,i will go again

when i shop at richies I try to get what is in stock so i don't have to wait .everytime richie has come threw for me. noone has better prices he even let me use his truck. no where else would you get someone to help you like that. he's the best . my advise go to richies

I read the bad reviews , I disagree, we are very satisfied with our purchase and would g again. the service is ok, my delivery was quick. I have no complaints

Richie's furniture will flat out lie to you. They will tell you one thing and then do another. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Plus, their stuff is not of good quality.

You people who suggest that Richies own people are writing great reviews are absolutely correct. Look at the bad reviews and then oh! surprise, surprise, a great review, they are trying to do damage control...That is a no brainer! I think it is really funny, because RICHIE himself stated to me that "Ashley furniture is one of the best companies in the country"...How funny that the very happy customer states the same.....Even the furniture repair man told me himself that Richies furniture sells LOW END JUNK!! Stuck once or shall I say STUNG once, but never again....This citysearch is so wonderful, WE can do all the advertising WE want and another great thing is, it is on their dime.... then they lose business because of their illegal business practices. Please heed the warnings, Unfortunately, some of us found this page too late! These customers are telling you the truth.

After looking through Richies catalogues, we found exactely what we were looking for. When we returned home I went online to research prices. And found that Richie saved us $120.00. Even the delivery charge was cheap. I have been reading the reviews here and you just don't seem to understand the fact, that a manufacturer is not going to send a few pieces on a 40ft. trailer across the country. My tables came from Wisconsin, and they arrived to my home in 2 weeks. You have to have patience. I do not work for Richies, they were recomended to me by a fellow worker. We will return to Richies. We are refurnishing my entire home, and we will purchase EVERYTHING from Richies. He does not sell cheap products either. Manufacturer's such as Eagle, and Ashley. Which if you do the homework, you will find they are just two of the best manufacturers of home furnishings in North America. My tables also came with a warranty. If you want high quality furniture, for a good price, and great service, and a friendly atmosphire, GO TO RICHIES HOME FURNITURE IN CHELSEA, you really won't be dissapointed.

Pros: Two thumbs up! Nothing fancy, but great quality, and prices. Very friendly people.

Cons: Can't find any.

All the negative reviews you see here are written by real customers. I know, because I was one, and I had the exact same HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with RICHIE'S!!! Don't believe the "good stuff" you see. It is so obviously written by Richie's own people. I ordered some furniture months ago and they couldn't have been nicer. HA! It's just a trap to lureyou in....... then the purchase from hell begins. It was months (not weeks, as they promised) before I got what I had paid for -- in full, no less. I cannot tell you how many phone calls I had to make to get it. It was always "some one else's fault." These people are allergic to the truth! I, too, will contact the attorney general's office. I've never dealt with such sleazeballs in my life!!

Pros: Not a blessed thing!

Cons: The most dishonest people you'll ever do business with!

They said they were going to deliver 3 times and never showed up. I called with complaint after complaint and got the same answer: " We will look into it and call you right back". They never, ever call back. The worst part is I paid in full, 3 months ago for my furniture, after the first set they delivered was damaged. They lie, are uncaring, and outright unprofessional. You might save a few dollars by going to Richies but believe me, in the end in cost you more in money and aggravation. I am reporting them to the attorney generals office. It is not fair how they treat their customers and think they can get away with it!!

Cons: they lie, no communication, they make appointments and dont show

Sub has proper config file...... Avoid this company like the plague. I ordered a full sleigh bed and a Sealy mattress for my 2 1/2 yr old and the entire was messed up. Upon delivery a generic mattress was delivered and the foot board on the bed was wrong. They tried to pass the generic off as a Sealy, but everyone knows that Sealy places their logo on their mattresses. I was promised the correct mattress the next day, but I received no phone call and no mattress the next day. I have since resolved the mattress issue (delivered 4 days later), but not the footboard. The footboard is in Springfield,MA (according to them). Apparently Richie has not found any time to go up there to get it. He apprently is too busy to make it up there. I have made a ton of phone calls to them with no resolution. To this day I have not received one phone call from this company. I have had to make all the calls to them. Do yourself a favor do not order from them. If you do you could be settings yourself up for a lot of headaches.
