No Quality...All quantity

If you like hanging out in a dark and dingy room eating really bad pizza, served by really bad people, surrounded by really horrendous drunks, then this is your place. Not a place I'd ever bring my kids. The gimmick with the pizza is that it is large, so that is what people talk about, not the quality. Management seems to be asleep at this place. There's so many quality places in West Seattle, that it's easy to pass this place up.

BEST SERVICE! BEST FOOD!

We were recomended to Talarico's by a friend and were not disappointed.

Just like the other reviewers we loved the dim lighting and open fireplaces at tables.

It was extremely nice that they made our kids feel welcome too, and being a lounge we didnt feel the need to keep them quiet; which can be difficult at times.

There salad and artichoke dip were both fresh, delicious and equally pleasing to the eye.

We also had one of their seasonal unfiltered beers. I was surprised as I do not often like lighter beers, but it had the perfect balance of hops hops and smoothness.

As per our servers recomendation we did not order a full pizza (measuring 28" across) but opted for getting a a slice a piece. As I am bias to Waterfront pizza in port townsend. Their pizza was amazingly good with just the right combination of toppings and crust the was crisp but not overcooked.

we ended with their skillet cookie dessert which was served in a cast iron pan still sizzling hot when brought to the table and topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla icecream. Despite not heeding the servers warning we all burned ourselves on the pan as we were fighting for the last bites of the dessert.

Not only does Talarico's not disappoint with their food, I couldnt have asked for a better wait staff.

Good rep...I think not

I have heard nothing but good things about Talarico's . So I go there to get some awesome pizza with a couple of buddies and once we took a step in the door, everything went wrong. I just turned 21 only a few months ago, so everywhere I go I want to get a beer. I still have a vertical license, and I got harassed by the waitress about it. Then when we go to order food, we all get a slice of pizza each(which are ginormous) and it takes nearly 45 minutes for us to get it. I mean, how hard is it to make 3 slices of pizza; and the place was only half full. I mean, the place wasn't even busy. I am very disappointed in this place and don't recommend. Horrible service!

What happened to this place?

...this used to be one of the best places to hang out in WS but the last six months have been nothing but one painful experience after another...every time I go in there there is a sea of new faces working there and the service just gets worse and worse...my guess it was either an owner or a management change...but whatever it was it's not working at all...and what's this I hear about kids? They can kiss my entertainment dollars goodbye...

great pizza, good drinks when you can get one***parking????

I was there on a Saturday night, my girlfriend and i were having a great time at first. Then we could't find our waiter. He started off giving great service then we didn't see him for awhile. No big deal I had cash so i went to the bar to order us more drinks. While i was at the bar there was our waiter TAKING A SHOT!!! What BS I was waiting for a drink and he was having one.

I still recommend Talaricos, but you might want to order a double or plan on a wait.

Love,love...KIDS????

The rumor mill is churning a most disturbing one folks. Kids aloud in the bar until 9 PM. The coolness factor will dispurse and myself and my partner shall start taking our friends down the street to West Five. They still only cateer to the adult crowd and greed has not set hold of them. Talaricos is always packed with a great crowd and even better great food,drinks and bartenders. I hope the kids rumor is just that... a rumor, or I will have to day that all good things must come to a end.

Best Pizza & Happy Hour in West Seattle

I've been to Talarico's dozens of times and always experienced good service. The pizza is delicious and they poor a solid drink. The crowd is mixed with different ages and races, which makes for a great atmosphere. Their sports coverage is awesome.

maybe some more menu options? Went to go dancing and was told by the DJ they don't play any 'urban' music. I wasn't asking for Too Short. Come on???

Good concept with terrible service

Wish this place was still the old Chinese restaurant.

As far as restraurants go, the menu is very limited and every time I've been there (which is more than 1/2 dozen times), they are sold out several items. Not an imaginitve or expansive drink list either. I'd opt for Paggliacci's any day over the Talaricos pizza.

This would all be forgiveable if the service wasn't terrible. Yikes. Worst experienced in all of West Seattle-- slow, not trained or educated on food or beverage, and with an attitidue. I'd rather spend my money somewhere with a smile.

Definitely going back

The only time that I'm ever in West Seattle is for business. So I'm there during the week and I can't say that I stay out past 8:30 to 9:00 pm. But one place I love in this town is Talaricos. I'm no expert on New York pizza but as far as pizza joints in the Northwest go, this place is terrific. Great place to grab a beer and enjoy a slice. There are many reports of this place having bad service but that has not been the case for me. Each time I've been there the service has been excellent. However, the thing that I always look for in a new place is the atmosphere. And this place's atmosphere fits it's style very well. Keep it up Talaricos!
