I follwed Dan from his previous salon to LG, and I love this salon! Service is great, accessible, not pretentious. And of course, there's Dan who always works his magic. Highly recommend the salon and Dan.

I had my hair done in the most fantastic place. Leonard is amazing! I am a new me. Chic and stylish to the max! Everyone at the salon treated me like royalty. Felt so special and relaxed. I booked a new appointment immediately.

Pros: GREAT ATMOSPHERE! WINE, MUSIC AND FANTASTIC STYLING!

Went to the salon this past Thursday on my birthday. Glorious experience from beginning to end. Had my color and cut done by Leonard and it's exactly what I wanted and more. The staff is friendly and gracious. Can't wait to return. Collegues swear I look 20 years younger. What an uplifting, exquisite experience!

After reading all the great reviews here, I decided to call and make an appointment at what sounded like a great place. I was soooooo wrong. The receptionist was rude, unhelpful and had a terrible attitude. I was so put off by my experience on the phone, that I decided to not even make an appointment. With all the great salons in this city with friendly and pleasent staff, why put up with this level of snobbery.

Pros: there are none...this place is aweful

THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF JACKIE!!!! I visited Leonard Golino Salon for the first time last week. I'm automatically hooked!! I have a massive amount of blond highlighted hair and I needed a partial foil. It only took Jackie 5 minutes to consult with me, poor me glass of wine, and say sit back and relax. It's difficult with blond hair because you want it to be BLOND but, you still want various colors of demension. That's exactly what I left with!! She used a Kerastase "Ciment Thermique" styling product that left my hair silky and full of shine. I left with the product and a smile from ear to ear.

Pros: The best NYC Salon, housing the best stylist in the biz!

I was recommended to Jackie as a good a stylist under $100, and she was awesome. I got a nice stylish cut that is flattering to my face and easy to blowout myself. This is one of the first times i've gotten layers that don't look mullet-ish. my hair still looks long, but with more style and texture to it. definitely recommend her.

Moved to NYC in the spring and was so lucky to find Janet! Recomended to her by my roomate who always has great hair even when she just wakes up. She is so skilled and pays great attention to detail. She's a perfectionist who will never let you walk out of the salon looking less than perfect. Her highlights are always very natural looking and she gives a great deep conditioning treatment afterwards to keep it looking healthy. Another pro is that the rest of the staff is great too. The receptionists are adorable and always give you a confirmation call the day before. The assistants are so kind and great at what they do. Especially the assistant C.C who is great about taking your coat right away and making you feel at home. I always tip her extra for her excellent shampoo too. The Kerastase products are great and they even serve good wine. Just can't say enough about how much I love this place!

Pros: Janet's expertise, prompt service, open 7 days a week

Cons: nothing bad about the place in my opinion

I am a faithful and loyal client of Mr. Leonard Golino himself. His salon is so tastefully decorated and his staff is as sweet as pie. He is also a Kerastase salon, which is an AMAZING hair product line, and THAT right there is a HUGE plus. If you're looking for the kind of salon you can go to & just KNOW you'll never need to search for a stylist again, then this is the spot for you. The friendly banter and yummy hot tea they serve will keep you coming back again and again!

Pros: This place is SO good, you'll only need your highlights done twice a year!

Cons: Nada, baby! 'Tis perfect.

i recently went to this salon on a whim and got a haircut with Daniella. She gave me a great cut, I havent had one like this in a while! She really listened to what I wanted and suggested a cut that was just right for my hair type, and when I washed and styled it a few days later it just fell into place. The place is friendly and warm and everyone there is so welcoming, from the front desk to the girl who washed my hair. Great conversation too! I will definately be back again.

i took most reviewers advised to check this place but it is okay. the place is very nice and cozy but russ cut my hair way too short. i explained how i wanted and he kept saying he got it...in the end my hair was not i expected. he blowed dry my hair and it was getting too hot that could burn my skin! i was unhappy but overall he was a nice guy...i would not go there again if i want to get my hair shorten, i could go to barber shop. salon is salon for texture and styling.

Pros: nice and cozy place

Cons: cut way too much and almost burn my forehead
