With eight beers on tap as well as a rotating seasonal selection of drafts, we started with the sampler platter to get a taste for each, then tried some chili and a great sandwich. After a long ride in the local forest of our capital, we stopped in for an Organic Amber and some cod tacos. Located in Olympia, all the produce comes from Evergreen State College’s organic farm. Fresh ingredients and a laid back atmosphere are perfect after a long ride. Having joined the “Mug Club,” we were left to enjoy our Never Summer Ale in our own mugs, which were kept behind the bar for us. My buddy is forever looking for that perfect burger and the “brew burger” just might do the trick. So as we head back, a little humbled by our day’s adventure, this brewery has been a great destination.
